Soaring the Mondstatd skies was one of your favorite pastime hobbies or visiting Dragonspine was one o the things on you to-do list.

Honestly you would do anything to fill the lonely void since he  left.

He was the first person to actually look at you for your talent and not your lineage. Of course, being  the child of Dvalin and Durin was a hard thing especially when people would always ask

"Who's he mother....?"

"Well.. who's your father? A snail?? Because I think I can clearly see his wonderful intelligence reflect in you.."

Well that was one way to deal with those people, but you honestly didnt care, as long as he comes back nothing else mattered.

It was a normal day, Albedo had called you yet again to run some tests with the infamous traveler, the saviour of nations, the final grace of this cursed land to run a couple of tests to fulfil his research

"Do I really have to go dads... Its fucking annoying ya know?"

"Language, young one.." Durin sighed, petting your head "Its your choice kiddo, the traveler person was awfully insistent on having your presence"

Dvalin chuckled, "They hope you like this small gift of theirs" as he sipped warm chocolate milk.

"I have no choice then do I? Fine, ill get going then" as you leave your dwelling to fly to the alchemists laboratory,

"Hey (y/n)!  Promise me you wont forget me even if we are apart , you have to promise me!" the honey haired man shouted as he boarded the ship.

The (h/c) coloured person couldnt even budge yet alone force his voice out to form comprehensible words to speak from his mouth.

At last, there was one thing he could say "I will remember you till death do us part"

The boy smiled, "Wait for me (y/n) I will come back soon, just wait a bit" his voice cracked as tears clouded his vision.

The (h/c) individual wished to console him, pick him off that ship and take him far away but he couldn't, he knew he shouldn't, not yet...

"I'll wait for you Thoma"

You had arrived at the alchemists base, but it was musty and looked like it lacked any human habitation, the dragon sighed, reminiscing of the memory of the honey-haired man,

"I fucking miss you Thoma.... just be safe for archons sake"

"I am safe (y/n)" a familiar voice echoed, the (h/c) individual whipped his head in the direction o the voice

"Miss me...?" the honey-haired individual awkwardly extended his arms for a hug, while the dragon made slow and cautious steps toward the individual

"I'm not dreaming right..?" 

"No, you're not"

"You're not gonna disappear if I touch you, right?" the dragon asked a few inches away from him

"Why don't you touch me then" he smiled that beautiful smile of his as the dragon gently wrapped his arms around his waist and nuzzled his head on his neck...

"Oh fucking thank the archons... Thoma don't go leaving me ever-fucking-again" the dragon gripped wrapping his tail around him

"I wont (y/n), I never will..." Thoma smiled
