warnings: angst, language, fighting,

Me and Dylan met on set while filming The Maze Runner: The Death Cure a couple of months ago. Since then, we have kept spending time with each other.

When we weren't filming, he, along with Thomas, Nathalie, Will, and Ki, would come over to my place and just hang out, or we would go to one of their places.

Dylan and I spent a lot of time together, so much so that some of the cast members would start teasing us, but me and Dylan always just ignored their comments.
(Me and Nathalie have become really good friends, and she was the only one who knew about my crush on Dylan)

We had a day off today, so just like always, i got ready and headed over to Dylan's place, we would usually just show up at each others houses, so this wasn't anything new.

When I got there, there were already two other cars in the driveway. I instantly recognized the cars, they belong to Nathalie and Thomas.

I parked my car and went up to the front door, opening it and walking in. I closed the door behind me and heard the sounds of laughter and people talking. I walked over to the living room, i was just about to turn the corner when i heard my name.

"Oh, come on, dude! You totally like her!" Thomas said while laughing.

"Thomas is right Dyl, it's pretty obvious that you like (Y/N) and anyone with eyes and a brain can see it." Nat said, agreeing with Thomas.

I started blushing, a smile making its way on my face, hoping that Dylan would just fess up so that I could tell him how I felt already.

"No, i don't. The only reason i spend so much time with her is because i don't want to hurt her feelings by telling her to back off a little. And besides, she's the one who's constantly sitting next to me when we have meetings on set, it's annoying.
She's also always inviting herself over to my place to hang out and i, once again, just stay silent as to hurt her feelings.
Y/N is just clingy in general." Dylan said with an irritated, angry tone.

My heart sank. Tears were starting to form in my eyes, I had to place a hand over my mouth to keep myself from making a sound and risk them hearing me.

"Woah. Dylan, that was a bit rude, don't you think? I mean yeah, Y/N can be a bit much sometimes, but not even you can deny the fact that every time she's around, we have a lot more fun. She always finds a way to make us laugh, and to you, she might be clingy, but to me, she's a damn good friend who has never talked shit about you behind your back." Nathalie said, defending me.

"I'm not denying the fact that i have fun when she's around okay, i'm just saying that she doesn't have to be so clingy, she doesn't have to be next to me or talk to me all the time and we don't have to hangout everyday.
I just want her to give me some space and i want everyone to stop thinking I'm in love with her, because it's pissing me off that everyone thinks i could ever be in love with someone like her ." Dylan said

"What the hell do you mean that?" Nathalie asked, getting angry.

"I just mean...i- i don't know, okay! Look, can we please just talk about something else, please?" Dylan said, stuttering a bit.

I didn't want to be there anymore. I just walked out of the house as quietly as possible. I got into my car and drove home.
My head was pounding, tears were streaming down my face, and i kept wondering how i could be so stupid.

When i arrived at my home, I practically ran inside, straight to my room.
I put some comfy clothes on and just laid in my bed, crying my damn eyes out.

I got a few texts and calls from Nat, Thomas, and Dylan, but i didn't answer. I just put my phone one silent, and i eventually cried myself to sleep.

When i got to work the next day, i walked inside. I saw Dylan, along with Nat and Will looking at me, probably expecting me to walk over to them, instead i just looked at them for about two seconds, making direct eye contact with Dylan, he smiled at me, but i didn't smile back, then i just started walking again, going straight to my trailer.
