Juniper Maddox constantly maintained that Alexander Albon was likely the only person who could ever, would ever attempt to fulfil her capacity for wonder. During this maintenance, she remembers, but doesn't share that, his job - whatever his career was - was the only reason Alex decided to try find another avenue for awe.
