You two together at last, it's all you had ever wanted after all this time away from him.
And now it was to last forever.
Immortal life was upon you both now.

As he still held his arms around your waist, you asked him again "Where is Lestat my love? And what happened that night after he had killed me? Or so thought".

"Let's sit, and I'll explain" he said, gently letting go but taking your hand over to the little bench.

You two sat and you were ready to listen to the answer you had waited on for all time.

"Well, it starts when Lestat left later that evening in a pissed mood as such, and I knew something was up. I saw him before I had left, he was fidgeting with his fingers so I was confused really. But upon soon inspecting the outside area, the water everywhere. Then I quickly realised there was no sign of you" says Louis, staring into the pool.

"And then, I saw the ring at the bottom of the pool, I stripped down and got it after it. After wondering why it was there, Lestat came home. I yelled at him frantically, about where were you and why was the ring here? His eyes glowed when I said ring, and he tried to take it. But I knew him better than he knew himself, I knew he had tried to kill you. Then he confessed to throwing you into the sea thinking you were dead. I was shattered, I went down to find you, but you were gone" further says Louis and your heart sank.

Slight tears fell from your eyes, and you felt pain knowing this. "I'm sorry Louis, by the time you had gotten there, the vampire blood kicked in obviously, and I decided to flea so I didn't come across him again. But what happened to Lestat?" you ask, and he sighs.

"I don't know y/n, I really don't. I didn't return after I thought he had killed you, and I waited a few months to return back to the house. And it was empty, he was gone." again sighed Louis, and you faintly smiled.

"I hope he's dead, he deserves it. Lestat caused too many people pain" you say, getting up towards the edge of the pool. Looking into your faint reflection. Louis came up to next to you and faintly smiled, "But wherever he is, he deserves to be suffering" you said and looked at your ring.

Lestat was selfish, he had always wanted Louis and now you had him to yourself, although you felt your suffering on both ends. You both would miss him, yet Louis missing him more as he was his creator. That was a pain you knew far to well yourself.

"The sun will be coming up soon, let's head inside" he smiled, taking your hand. You blushed and took it, although sure Lestat would find out somehow you were alive after all this time.

"The bed is ruined and so is our coffins, where are we to sleep?" you ask, and Louis looks confused for a moment. "Your right, let's check around the house for any dark places and sleep there" he says, as you head upstairs to have a look.

"Louis!! Come here!" you shout, suddenly standing in Lestat's old room.

Louis frantically runs up and his jaw drops like yours, but now your face turned to a panic. "Why is his room not rotting away?" you ask, and Louis gulps.

"No way he is still alive and living here..." he says, and just at that there was a knock at the window. You both turn to look at it and there he was. He gently pushed the window in and came inside the room, and stood for a moment. Looking around and then to you.

"You should be dead." he mutters and you sigh.

"Yup I should be, but unfortunately I'm not." you smile.
