|| 3. Lestat and Louis And Claudia Ask You Too Move In With Them ||

It was your average night in the foster home you lived in, they were nice people. But they simply were not the people you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. They were old and you were young, they treated you like their own though. They were by far the best family you had ever lived with, but you suddenly snapped out of your day dreaming because you had to leave to babysit. It was a part time job you had taken up to earn you money on the side, you are still in school after all. "I'm off okay? I'll see you later.." you said to your mother, hugged her goodbye and off you was.

- Time Skip To 7pm -

You arrive at the huge looking mansion house these people lived in, well vampires lived in. You knew their secret but you kept it since they were kind and gentle with you. You gently knocked on the door, one of the men opening it slowly. "Ah Miss y/n, please come in!" said Louis as you walked in slowly. Quickly, you noticed Claudia running to hug you as she had just woken up. You always had open arms for her, and soon after her. Walked down a sleepy Lestat. "y/n!!!" he said and he came to kiss your hand. He had done this all this time now, so you had got used to it. "Miss me and Louis are going to get ready and head out, so we will see you later okay? We will be only gone an hour or so." said Lestat and you nodded. You took Claudia's hand and you two went to sit down on the sofa.

"I think my fathers are planning something y/n, they have been so secretive lately..." whispered Claudia to you. You pulled a confused face and said softly "Maybe they are planning to surprise you, you will just have to wait and see okay?". She just nodded and hugged you again. "We are leaving now y/n, we won't be long!" shouted Lestat and they left.

"Hey do you wanna read a book or something?" you said and Claudia nodded. So, you guys got up and examined the book shelf. Your finger slid across every book until you pulled out one that caught your eye. It was a book called 'Forbidden Love', you showed Claudia and she gasped. "I've been looking for this for ages, I never found it! It's one of my favourite books!" she explained and you guys went to sit down to read it. Slowly, yourself and Claudia read through the pages and soon finished 5 chapters. "y/n we are back!!" shouted Lestat and you got up to go see them. Claudia followed you. "Miss you need to sit down because we need to talk" explained Louis and suddenly you were extremely nervous. Anyway, you just simply nodded and followed them to their living room.

You all sat down and Louis passed you some papers in an envelope. You raised an eyebrow and opened it slowly. Suddenly, a tear fell from your eye as you read it. "We are adopting you!" it said and you jumped over and hugged them so much. You were pouring tears but managed to pull yourself together quickly. "When do you want me to move in?" you asked and they pointed to the text underneath. 'In the day while we sleep, you move in' it read and you smiled. "Leave and go get your things to move in while we sleep" said Lestat passing you the keys to the house. "Claudia go get y/n bag for her!" Louis whispered and she bought it to you. You hugged her thank you and left quickly...
