"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO," MELANCHOLIA VANDERS FREAKED OUT, seeing the safe room hatch wide open. The Child was gone. The Mandalorian's rage was silent as he did a U-turn, furiously marching out into the scrap yard. Lia followed him ━━━ anxiously, out of the ship and watched as he approached a droid. He really had a thing with droids, huh?

"HEY!" the Mandalorian barked.

Peli Motto, asleep in her habitat, leapt to consciousness in a startled haze. "I'm awake! I'm awake!"

"Where is he?!" Mando interrogated a pit droid and it folded up in fear. Lia tried to calm him down with a hand on his shoulder, to which he shrugged off.

Peli Motto came out, nursing the Child's sleepy body in her hands. The woman was batty and crabby and a little confused ━━━ but definitely not shy from nurturing. She rocked him as the Child cried in her arms from the disturbment. Melancholia couldn't help but to feel a pang of jealousy. That was supposed to be her soothing him back to sleep. But instead, she was the hardened bounty hunter that had to go capture a mercenary killer instead.
