AS THE DOOR SLAMMED SHUT BEHIND HIM, the Mandalorian's chest begun to feel heavy. He didn't know if it was the damage undergone to his armor or simply the fact that he had just sentenced a not-so-innocent, innocent person to death. Possibly the latter. Because not only had he betrayed her, he had killed her. And now, beneath the heat of the Nevarro sun, all he could think about was his stupidity. As well as that blissful ignorance he had towards Melancholia's situation.
"Did they kill the Schutta already?" a voice now questioned, snapping the Mandalorian out of his thoughts.
The Mandalorian turned to the man ━━━ the very same one that had thrown a wrench at Lia's head, and frowned. "What did you say?"
"I said," the man drunkenly slurred, stumbling forward and placing a hand on his shoulder. "Is the Schutta dead or not?"
The man's first mistake had been the wrench. His second had been uttering those vulgar words. And his third...his third had been being stupid enough to have touched him.
