ch 2: little rock to miami

"jhonny get up we are late!!" yelled zack as his lazy brother got up slowly and rubbed his eyes. realizing how important the day was he shot up and whizzed around his room to get ready for his flight. in no less than 5 mins he was ready and swinging the bag he already had packed last night came downstairs where his perfectly ready brother stood nonchalantly rolling his eyes. oh how he hated his elder brothers mr perfect attitude. his mom on the other hand was a total applecandy and love for her was the only thing common in both the brothers. as she went about attending to her household chores and giving out breakfast to her sons she could hardly conceal her tears. "mum are you crying?!!!" zack asked quite surprised "no sweety its just that 5 years ago even your dad had to leave for an assignment like this and you know he never returned" she exclaimed breaking down. zack smiled "oh comeon mom i promise I'll come back and i even promise I'll take good care of that idiot too!!!" he said pointing towards jhonny who was already outside putting the baggage in his car "now comeon wipe ur tears and see us off or else we will get late" they made their way out while zack helped his younger brother put the bags in their mother instructed them "jhonny be a good boy and please don't go racing around miami the last thing i would want to hear is u involved in an accident. and zack i came to know that miami has a fair share of beautiful girls just try to get a girlfriend will ya" zack looked at his mother with an aura of disinterest both his mom and jhonny started laughing. zack just shook his head and got into the car waving gudbye to his mom they left for the airport.

zack stared at the clouds as they raced by from the window of the plane, occaisnally turning around and sarcastically marvelling his brothers talent in playing with the snacks served. he bent his head back down into the files he had been observing for the past 45 mins. it was all crystal clear to him. their just was this stuck up gang with quite big brains (as compared to the miami police's) and whacky gizmos who needed a bit of a little jail time. so he's just gonna go tackle their nxt plan, get his mechanically geniuse brother to build something mindboggling then maybe in a fast paced car chase catch the whole gang. then finally he could enjoy his much awaited vacation over there. with these happy thoughts he slid the headphones over his ears to block out the crazy antiques of his mad brother. but future is a thing no one can predict right.

#welcome to miami may ur trip be full of fun and peace# read the welcome board at the miami airport, zack knew his trip would be anything bt peaceful "so, paulo what do u know about the gang" he questioned the FBI agent who had come to pick them up frm the airport. the bearded man who was quite a chatter box replied in his mexican accent "ooh they are not good news. very bad, drugs, booze, murders just some buisness under them. they kill people like we cut vegeatables" jhonny grunted "bleach...i hate veggies they ought to be cut and by the way" he whispered bending towards his brother "r u sure that's how u prononce his name cuz i thought it was polo with a hole" zack fake smiled at his brothers idiotic doubt paulo continued "and that lia bah... shes a tough la nina. i doubt if even we catch the whole gang we will be able to catch her!!!" zacks eyebrows pulled together in surprise "a girl? there wasn't one in my files" "oh she isnt in our files either. all they got is a picture of a girl in mask but she is the main delivery guy, she delivers tons of coccaine in a month but still we got no picture!!" he chuckled "oops then you have got the wrong man polo" jhonny replied zack looked at him questioningly jhonny smirked back at him paulo cleared his throat "umm... it's paulo" "ofcourse polo whatever you say big guy!!! cuz u see my brother here is allergic to girls, no actually phobic would be a better word especially of beautiful girls. if he sees a beautiful gurl he starts to scream like one and sometimes evn faints" zack shot him a 'don't-u-cross-ur-limit-and-get-bashed-up-by-me' look. jhonny recognised it and instantly backed up. paulo made a voice from deep down his throat which he thought sounded like a chuckle but it ended up sounding like a grunt "well you better get used to it then, cause miami aint got no deficiency of good looking senorita's, especially not in our office. but whoever you flirt with remember the receptionist maria is MINE!!!"

   A while later they stopped at an old looking café jhonny exclaimed "are we stoppin for a quick snack?" "no, this is our office" paulo exclaimed back guiding them inside there was a gorgeous girl standin bhind the counter. as paulo made his way to her she looked up and a smile spread on her face "paulo you're late" "sorry maria we were stuck in traffic" paulo replied kissing the back of her hands. "You must b the wilsons. the boss is waiting for you, meg will usher you downstairs" she said as another cute girl who looked like in her teens got up from one of the tables "hi i am meg & i have been appointed as your new secretary and also your guide around here" jhonny started to whistel but got stopped when zack smacked him flat on the stomach. meg waved her hands directing them to enter the door she had opened. paulo wanted to follow but maria had other plans for him. as they entered the door which took them down a fleet of steps and into a hitech office jhonny and zack were left astounded by the world in front of them. the old café had changed into a magnificientpalace of gismos and girls. they pretty much knew they had to work in this other dimensional place which was totally out of this world for atleast a month, who knew if they would wanna stay more!!!

"we leave as soon as the assignment gets completed!!" exclimed zack as he entered his room in his newly alloted house. "hmmm i could see why" jhonny snorted he had made plans to stay. zack just frowned at his words and closed the door shut behind him. it had been a hell of a day. firstly the new office was way too much complicated for him, everything ran on machines from the file manager to the canteen (that and the fact that the office was swarming with hot chiks were the exact reasons that jhonny was in love with this place) then came the meeting with the boss, he was a cool guy alright but unlike carolyn who always had a smile on he seldom did that, the details of the meetings werent a lot jst the usual briefing of the supposed gang members. they had a detailed account of almost all of them but couldn't catch them due to lack of evidence and eyewitnesses. the leader some guy named ben even had the image of a respectable, law abiding, tax paying citizen in the society. but the person on whome arnold stine (boss) really highlighted was that girl lia and literally zack was quite impresd by the stories he heard about her from his new colleauges, but they had nothing on her appearance she was just the blue eyed raven haired slippery eel of a girl.
      But the worst was yet to come after the meeting as even paulo was introducing him to all the others tad brundi one of the senior most officers who was now to work under him (after all he'd been made the captain of the team) remarked sharply "seriously they couldn't have fallen on this bad days as to bring in a kid!!!" zack didn't actually take notice but jhonny couldn't accept this sarcassm for his brother "well i am sorry to break it to you uncle but you know it's a rule of life mayb ur not aware of, old things get replaced by new ones its better that way isnt it even you can give a break to ur old creeky bones and even mayb to that sarcy mouth of yours" everybody sniggered, no one had actually liked the bossy tad. then it was all the attention he was getting from the girls. but on the other hand they were provided with everything they needed swanky cars, a posh house equipped with a well loaded basement full of cars awaiting jhonnys modifications, guns and ammunitions in dozens and a full operational hacking system. above it the house was a perfectly normal one, with quite chirpy neighbours who had no idea as to what the brothers really were.
             zack raced his minds through all the happenings of the whole day. but his thoughts got stuck on the particular highlight 'lia' "if u could catch her redhanded half ur case is solved" arnolds voice echoed in his brains. if that was the case then he knew exactly where he would be starting his new case from. boy was he ready to take on what looked like the most interesting assignmnt of his life.
