the chase begins

The normal days started quite well for Zack and Johnny they were getting along well with the happenings. Nothing much exciting took place for four days then when everyone started doubting the very existence of the gang they showed up that very morning. Zack had been busy showing meg what he thought about the gangs pattern of work wen the alarm went off in full panic. Paulo rushed in "we got information our informers saw many of the gangs members head up for the old empty tire factory. We even have suspicion the day raiders may be there too. Both the gangs had something going on for days..." Paulo huffed sliding few pics down the table. Zack looked at them mostly of goons he had seen at the club days ago 'lia' was in one of them but only a side was visible and she had that mask on again. It hit him wait ... She wasn't there at the time of the club attack,why? Before he could even guess his eyes fell on something else or someone in specific. He strained his eyes to make sure who he thought was in that blurred pic was correct. His mouth flew open as he realised it was indeed the club guy, the one who was trying to force himself upon that girl, Zack's girl.... Zack mentally slapped himself. What was he thinking he didn't even know her name. And after all he had more important matters right now. He looked up at Paulo and grinned "so we have the clues, the address, the weapons, remind me what are we waiting for again. Christmas?!!!".
Meanwhile in the old factory:-
"Hey lia check this out" Craig yelled opening a rusting old door and was immediately flooded and drowned with old tires lia let out a hysterical laugh watching the older guy flailing and struggling to get out "lesson of the day kids look before u leap" Brady remarked moving his hands around like a professor. The other gang they were supposed do make a deal with had not yet arrived and they were getting bored like hell "I hope your enjoying yourselves but u know we have work to do. Ben doesn't pay you for your stupid antics" that icy voice that cut through brought groans and grunts of disgust in response. Lia knew who it was, everyone did. Who couldn't recognize Roger, Ben's egoistic secretary's ear piercing high pitched and annoying voice."OMG we did I had no fishing idea!!! Well thanks for enlightening me on that old man...by the way what do you get paid for? licking bens arse?! " Lia shot at him sarcastically, he only snorted in response. "Good one" Brady chuckled joining lia as they climbed upstairs to the open terrace where Ben was already seated "isn't this beautiful lia" he said sighing looking at the other gang arriving. He always thought drugs were beautiful so this wasn't any thing out of the blue. The 'day raiders' boss appeared onto the terrace guarded by two bulky bodyguards he nodded as roger welcomed and showed him the seat. Both the bosses were seated across each other with a dirty plastic table between them. Lia and teauge stood towards bens left side behind him and Brady was on his right. The other gangs guards followed the same. One of them looked at lia and cheesily checking her out gave her a dirty lil smirk. She didn't even move, her hands placed calmly in her pockets she smiled at Brady who was already giving the a guy a death glare. "So rick have you got what's mine..." Ben asked rick. He smiled back signalling to one of his body guards who whistled out the front gate opened and in walked people holding cases and cases of white powdery drugs into the open area inside the factory which was visible from the terrace. "Beautiful! The most beautiful!!" Ben started deliriously lia just rolled her eyes. "What about my part" rick eyed Ben who just shrugged at roger. Roger placed a briefcase onto the table and flung it open revealing money brimming to the top. Rick smiled at roger and took the case he got up to shake bens hand, Ben smiled crazily "oh what's the hurry right now rick I am sure we can do something to entertain you!" Rick froze he knew Ben too well to guess the reason behind this. He tried reaching for his gun but before he could Ben already had shot a bullet right between ricks eyes while roger was pumping metal into his other 2 bouncers. Lia shrieked as she saw the three bodies fall to the ground a lil blood splattered onto her shirt. She gagged at the sight of it and turned around literally ready to puke. "Was that really necessary! I couldn't have been warned at least. A small heads up would have been enough!!!" She choked standing as far away from the bodies as possible trying to breath as Brady rubbed her back trying to soothe her. Ben chuckled kicking ricks lifeless body a bit "well I did try to be more generous didn't I. But he had to turn my polite offer down why the insolent...." Ben didn't complete the sentence as rage took over him maniacally as he started to hit the bodies and crush their faces with his posh leather shoes. Lia shivered quickly looking away teauge stood in between her and the bodies trying to block her range of view as everyone knew her utter disgust against these kind of gory. Brady continued to calm her mouthing a quick thanks towards teauge. "Aww c'mon baby girl you need to grow up someday.." Ben smirked extending a bloody hand towards her she quickly recoiled in horror burying her face in bradys jacket "that's fine Ben, but I dont really think that day is today" Brady glared angrily at his mad boss hugging lia protectively, he knew Ben was doing this just to annoy lia but he couldn't do anything to his boss who was probably the most dangerous guy in this city!!! Ben just sniggered at the girls reaction "yiu know lia You have to learn to kill before You get killed" teauge scowled at this sharp remark but before anybody could say anything a bang echoed through the building followed by police sirens and a loud speaker crackling "surrender yourselves you have been surrounded!!!" This followed a series of gunshots. Lia knew the gang members downstairs were battling it out with the police. She knew she had to back them up and all her disgust floated away. She never had killed anyone except once.... And she wasn't going to today she would do her usual scare them and scar them. she quickly picked one of the revolvers from near the dead bodies trying real hard to ignore bloody heaps "That's more like it" Ben snarled behind her as she positioned herself behind the parapet wall of the terrace she began to aim for any random body parts of the visible men in uniform trying to hurt them at the most. "Look who's here!!" Brad grinned eyeing somebody on the ground lia followed his gaze and just in time her eyes locked onto the most perfect face she had seen in her life... Zack. She gasped "surprise, surprise... I guess" she tried hard to surpress the blush on her cheeks while slipping her bandana from around her neck up onto hr face to cover it up... Of course she didn't want Zack to see her and recognize her. Suddenly she noticed some other guy who looked barely in his teens and blonde to be more specific. He kept on screaming excitedly as he thought he saw her and how he was sure his next fallen target was her. She smiled deciding to have fun. She shot real close to his feet but didn't venture any further as wen the blonde screamed a bit Zack had a really worried look on his face. Johnny didn't back out too he shot back in response the bullet missing lias head by inches. She ducked quick then yelled mischievously "good shot but no cigar pretty boy!!!". Back downstairs Zack could swear he had heard the voice somewhere before but where? He had no time to recall though as Paula wrestled a smuggler down as almost all the others left except the one on the terrace who were quite a nuisance. Zack knew lia was up there and guessed if the boss would be anywhere it had to be there. Unknown to lia, Brady and teauge Ben who had positioned himself beside them was now aiming for Craig who was down below being wrestled down by another officer and Zack. As lia even thought about a plan to free a struggling Craig a gunshot rang through the atmosphere and Craig stopped wriggling going unusually still. Lias eyes widened as she looked over her shoulder to catch a smug smile on bens face as he held his gun pointed out in Craig's direction. Her eyes started to water "you!!!..." She heard Brady growl beside her not wanting to continue for their own safety she noticed Brady was shaking but not with fear it was out of anger. Lia slumped down against the wall letting the tears fall out. Teag just watched too dumbfound to react , Ben shrugged nonchalantly as if it were no big deal "we couldn't have him giving out any information could we" saying so he left. Roger smirked evilly at them "and unless you guys wanna join him in heaven I suggest you to get the hell out before you get it arse caught" he left them there. Brady sighed "lia... You OK?" He asked his words lifeless. Lia sniffed "just get me outta here" she whimpered Brady lifted her up as the exited the ruined buildings just as police search teams arrived on the terrace.
----------------1 hour later--------------
"Man we almost had one!!!" Paulo squealed wriggling in his car seat. Zack chuckled at his girly behaviour. But he couldn't say he wasn't disappointed himself they nearly had their hands on one of the members and he was shot dead!!! Most probably by the gang itself. Pshhw how heartless could theses people be killing their own man. But on the whole the were able to successfully seize up to almost 100kgs of drugs. That was a major success in a while for the police Zack smiled acknowledging that him being here was at least a bit useful. But in the end all that kept popping in his mind was that voice. Where had he heard it before. He was damn sure he had. Paulo brought him back onto earth "hey Zack wanna hit the club or something. Ya know free our minds and kindda celebrate the lil success..." Zack had wanted nothing more than to hit the bed but he took one look at Paulo's pleading eyes than sighed "yeah sure man why not!".
-----at the red eye house----
A soft knock came onto lias bedroom door. She sighed standing in her balcony facing the sea "come in" Brady peeked inside then was beside her in moments, shivering a bit as the cool night winds engulfed him. She looked up at him and smiled weakly "hi.." He grinned "you know lia if you keep standing here for a long time you will surely be going down with a dino sized cold!!!" She chuckled but fell silent again he looked at her and sighed "if I would have known that whatever happened was going to I would never have let you come..." He broke off. She heaved "its not the blood or murder brad...its just ... Just that ... You know right Craig was family and seeing him...." She said frantically movie her hands around he noticed she was panicking and hugged her tight "shush now its ok" she took a deep breath burying her gave in his t shirt then mumbled "that's exactly what I am worried about. Is it really OK? Today it was Craig what if its me next..." She broke off "don't say that! I'll protect you." He comforted her she looked back at him "and what about you who would protect you. If something happened to you then what am I supposed to tell Alex or Abby. I will never be able to forgive myself if you..." She started to panicked again but he cut her in between "well right now nothing is wrong with us right so let's just forget about it right. Hey whatever happened to YOLO!!!" He tried cheering her she just shook her head and hugged him tighter. He sighed knowing that this time he was just blowing the possibilities away with jokes but lia did have a point... What if that situation rises someday in the future. He stared at the clear water... They had to be prepared for any thing.

Hey there lovely people hope this want that boring... Who am I kidding this was a literal lullaby *hides behind rock waiting for the shower of rotten veggies and shoes* umm but it will get better as the story progresses and oooh I totally forgot in the next chappie lia and Johnny will be meeting for the first time. They haven't met yet ya know
