deena was sitting on the hospital bed and was just staring at the ceiling. she didn't care about anyone or anything. it was a matter of time before she becomes a picture, she thought.

deena frowned once she heard a knock from the door. out came sam with a bouquet of flowers in her hands. "hey, deens."

deena sighed, looking away from the blonde girl. "why are you here, samantha?"

"i came to say sorry." sam said, walking in the room. "properly."

deena finally looked at sam. it had been so long since she saw her face that it felt like she was meeting her again for the first time.

sam smiled, giving the bouquet to deena. she gave sam a light smile before taking the flowers. "you didn't have to get me this. i've got enough already."

sam chuckled, sitting down on the chair beside the hospital bed. "well, it's better to have more than none."

"what i did was really fucked up, i know. i shouldn't have done it. i shouldn't have hurt you like that. but you've done so much to make me change and i didn't want to ruin it by telling you. that's why i didn't say anything.." sam said with the tone of guilt. she really hated herself for what she did.

sam looked up to see deena's hand holding onto hers. "i forgive you. just.. don't hurt me like that again.."

a smile started to form on sam's face and nodded her head. "i'll make sure of that."

"jesus christ. i'm glad all that is over."

sam chuckled. "yeah.. nathan and madison apologized but.. i don't know if i should trust them. they're like the most untrustworthy people in this world."

deena laughed as she nodded her head. "got that right." she scooched to the side to make room for sam and she got up, sitting beside deena.

"oh. and i love you too by the way." deena confessed.

sam widened her eyes. "wait what?"

deena playfully rolled her eyes. "i love you too, dumbass." she repeated, slowly leaning in and kissing the blonde girl.
