Surprise!

Donna pulled away and smiled. I smiled back, still surprised that she kissed me first. All I knew was that our faces were both red as hell, Angie looked like she wanted to say something but kept it back. Donna pulled me into a hug and whispered a quiet thank you. I smiled wider as it was fangirling over us. It was awkward for a moment like we didn't know what to do next. It was almost 11 and Donna was running around looking for something. "You should give her the ring, y'know the promise one?" It was excited.

"I'll be right back Donna"

"Alright" she was still looking for something. I ran back to the elevator trying to remember where it was.

'DAMN I can't remember where it is!' it sighed "in your closet to the left in your shorts pocket."

'Thank you so fucking much!'

"You don't have to cuss every goddamn sentence." We made it to my room and I opened the closet and found the shorts. It took me a second to find it in the pockets but I found the ring. I ran to the elevator and ment up with Donna again. I was basically shaking with excitement, so was Angie. I had told Angie about it a few days ago, she probably forgot until now. I think it's hilarious, like how can you forget about something so important like a promise ring? Anyway, me and Donna were standing in front of each other.

"Sorry it took me a minute but I have something for you." Donna was clearly nervous when she said that. Honestly I was too but excited at the same time. Angie handed her something I could only assume that Angie had found it before she did, it was in a large box. "I actually have something for you as well." She was surprised. "Oh- I- uhm." She was really nervous.

"Do y-you want t-to go first?" she was shaking. I wanted to go first anyway, even if she wasn't nervous. Hopefully it will calm her down. She is a very self-doubting person which she shouldn't be because she's perfect. "Would you like me to?" I asked her very calmly. She was a little tense but when I said that she relaxed. "Y-yeah." her stutter was so bad right now.

"Alright!" I smiled at her. She smiled back. I pulled the ring out of my pocket and showed it to her. It had a yellow gem in it, it had vines around the base of the ring and holding the gem that looked like her yellow flowers that she has in her garden. I held it out to her and smiled. Although she looked confused. "It's a promise ring!" I said that to settle her confusion. Once I said that her eyes lit up, she looked at me and smiled. I grabbed her hand and put the ring on her middle finger, that's where I placed my rings as a kid so it wouldn't look like I was married. She was smiling and looking at getting confused again.

"I have a question." she said looking back at me. "Sure, what is it?" I was still smiling at her. "What are you promising?" I thought for a moment. I smiled as I got reassurance from it.

"It's to promise that I won't ever leave you." She smiled but she looked like she was going to cry. "You just made her night." Angie said, looking at me. I smiled and looked back at Donna. She hugged me tightly. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I tapped her, she looked at me and immediately let go. "I'm so sorry!" She apologized over and over again even though I said it was fine a million times. "Oh yeah! Your present!" she sounded a little nervous ending that sentence. She handed me this big box. "I think you should sit down for this" she sounded blunt so I sat down in the chair next to her desk. I looked at Donna, she was smiling but by her posture she was still a little nervous like her gift wasn't going to make me happy. Anything from her would make me happy. I slowly opened the box to see a doll of myself. My eyes lit up as I carefully pulled the doll out of the box.

"Wow. This is amazing!" I looked at Donna. She looked like she was doubting herself but when I said that it just disappeared. She smiled. "So this is what you've been working on for the past month?" she nodded and she was proud of herself. Angie was staring at me. I stared back and flinched towards her and she jumped. Donna laughed at Angie because of her reaction. "NOW THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING! THAT WAS A JUMP SCARE AND THAT WASN'T FAIR!" Angie screeched at us, but we were still laughing. I calmed myself down still giggling though "so you take us scaring each other a game?"

"Pretty much, genius." Angie huffed, while me and Donna were still laughing our asses off.

Once everything calmed down we went upstairs and got ready for bed, I was going into my room until Donna came in. "h-hey uhm would you like to sleep together?"

"Yeah sure!" I followed her down the hallway into her room while Angie was supposedly having a gossip tea party with other dolls. Every Friday apparently. I got into bed, so did Donna. She spooned me first which was odd to me. She kissed me on top of my head. "Night, love you." my face got so red. "Night, love you too." I was still a little startled and I heard Donna's small snores that were absolutely adorable. A few minutes later I fell asleep as well.
