Time stopped. Everything froze, it seems like every thing stopped for a while and everyone vanished into thin air and only the two of us left at this moment. Our gaze locked into each other's eyes.

"We have our tonight's winner! Congratulations, Dave!" the host announced.

At doon ako biglang natauhan. I took a step back, but my feet swiftly tumbled, causing me to sit on the sand. A man named Dave glanced at me and extended his hand to me as the crowd erupted in applause.

"Need a hand?" he asked.

I took a quick stare at his large and at his sincere face before accepting it and standing up to shake off the sand from my clothes. He gave me a brief glimpse before he looked away and chuckled. Napakunot naman kaagad ang noo ko.

"Bakit ka natatawa?" tanong ko.

He turned to face me with a humorous grin on his face and lifted his brows, looking confused, yet his reaction was the exact opposite of his face. Parang pinipigilan niya lang ang sarili na tumawa.

"Nothing. You're..." he paused, still smiling.

He's trying to come up with something to say and even tried to pay close attention to his words. As I waited for him to continue, my eyes became wider.

"You're cute," he murmured.

"Huh?" I asked as if I haven't heard it clearly.

Baka na nanaginip lang pala ako tapos mapahiya pa 'ko kung nagreact ako kaagad. I just want to make it clear. That's all.

"Wala. I said you're clumsy," he said.

Aba! Kapal nito ah. Oo, aaminin ko I'm really clumsy, Yuki used to call me 'Clumsy Summer' before because I used to mess things up. I know we've run into each other a lot today, but that doesn't give him the right to say that. Nakakainis!

Masama ko siyang tinignan at napatawa naman ito sa reaksyon ko bago siya umiwas ng tingin.

"Picture muna kayo." rinig kong sabi ng host habang papalapit ito sa amin dala dala ang polaroid.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko.Is it really necessary? I smiled strangely, putting a large gap between myself and Dave.

"Uhm. Can you move closer, ms?" she asked as she positioned herself.

"Okay, sure," I said as I moved a step closer to Dave but we're really far from each other.

Maybe this is fine, right? Hindi naman kailangan na dapat halos magkadikit talaga ang mga balat namin para kunan kami ng litrato. Dave giggled as a response to my actions, so he bent his body to reach out and grab my hand, pulling me closer.

As I raised my attention to Dave, my eyes widened, but he remained unbothered. He's smirking ear to ear as he places his hands on his back and prepares to pose himself in front of the camera.

My lips parted as I prepared to smile and lifted my head to make myself look normal, gathering my highlighted brown long hair on my shoulders.
