I opened the curtain and twirled, showing off every inch of the fabric. "So, do you think Bo would like me to wear this dress? I want this to be perfect, so please answer truthfully," I questioned the other male that was standing outside of the dressing room. The dress was knee-length and a crimson red made with soft silk.
"I'm sure he'd love it, Dream. The dress flatters your body." Sapnap answered. I bit the inside of my lip.
"If you say so..."The store had clothing rails full of formal attire. The purchase would be expensive, but it would still be worth it. We both stood in the queue as Sapnap tapped his foot on the ground impatiently. After about 3 minutes, we heard the lady from behind the counter call out for the next in line. "Next, please!"
------------------------
I visited a local florist near my house that had been named 'Hugs and Petals'. I entered the modest building, the wind chime that was hanging from the ceiling ringing above me. "Welcome, can I help you?" a woman in a blue blouse asked.
"Uh, yeah, I was wondering if you were selling any bouquets of daffodils?"
"Yes, right this way, sir."I hope Dream likes daffodils.
------------------------
Dream stared into the mirror anxiously. He was so fucking scared. What if Bo thought he looked weird? What if he messed up during the date? What if he accidentally makes Bo upset? The thoughts ran through his head as the clock hit 8:00 PM. He had 30 minutes.
Bo, on the other hand, was exulted. He was more excited than anything. He loved dream, more than anything. Love at first sight is real, I guess.
------------------------
The clock struck 8:30 as Bo arrived at the restaurant. He had reserved a table, just for the two of them. He walked inside of the building and got seated at the table. Which is where he saw Dream, who was looking up at him with blush-tinted cheeks. Bo handed him the bouquet of daffodils he had bought earlier,
"Hey darling," Bo flirted as he approached Dream, grabbing his chin, "God, You look so handsome right now,"
"Oh shut up, you look better." Dream giggled.
"That's impossible. You're literally an angel- metaphorically."
Dream smirked at his (inside) inside joke.
"Well, what are you planning on ordering?"------------------------
A man in a formal uniform with the restaurant's logo on approached the two males.
"What will you two be ordering? Want any drinks first?" He questioned."I'll have the BBQ chicken tenders with garlic bread, please. Oh, and for a drink, I'll have Pepsi max." Dream replied, whilst reading off of the menu.
"I'll have the 6 oz medium rare steak with fries and beans, and cherry coke as a drink, please."
"Sounds delicious! We'll be back with your order, give me a moment." the waiter said in response to the boys.
The two stared at each other until Dream spoke up.
"I wish you were sitting next to me and not in front of me." Dream told him.
"And why is that?"
"Because I can't hold your hand from over here. My hands are so empty, just like your brain!" Dream smirked at him as he playfully insulted him.
"Dude, you aren't funny." Bo laughed, a huge smile painted on his face. He didn't want to admit it, but he loved it when dream teased him. Although Bo tried to seem tough, he had a soft spot for Dream. One that Dream took advantage of, but not in a toxic way; He made Bo feel happy whenever he was around him, when nobody else could.
"Sure, sure." Dream rolled his eyes playfully, looking smug.
They sat in comfortable silence until their food came back. Bo was, undoubtingly, not the best at starting conversations, and Dream was too nervous to make one himself. Nevertheless, it wasn't awkward.
