My name is Link. I am seventeen years old and I am the son of the blacksmith of Hyrule. Because of that I have to help him make swords for the soldiers. Though my father is old now and he is sick so I have to make the swords. I have a boring life. Its just the same thing every day. I make swords, the chief buys them; Its just the same thing. I wanted to at least train with them but they said I was still underage to be training.
Since I'm a blacksmith, I made myself a sword to train on. I train everyday. Its not that I want to join the army but just in case trouble finds me I can defend myself. Plus, I'm not very skilled but somehow I feel that swordsmanship is in my blood. I just know it! I wish for some kind of adventure sometimes. But I wonder what mother would say?
My mother? Oh I never knew her. I only heard she was a good woman. Dead, alive who knows? Whenever I ask my father about her, he just says, well, nothing. Probably something happened, I don't know.
