It happened 3 years after. It was just an ordinary day of training until...

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP!!" said a Guard. "THE SWORD OF THE GODDESSES HAVE BEEN STOLEN!!"

    Everybody gasped in shock.
The Sword of the three Goddesses, Din, Nayru, and Farore, was a sacred blade that maintained order and kept the monsters of darkness away. It is said that its unique power could only be used by a person whose heart was righteous. But if it was to fall into the wrong hands it's power will turn evil.

    "Who took it?" Asked Edward.

"I don't know!" Shouted the guard. "The pedestal was empty when I patrolled there!"

Like I said earlier it kept the monsters at bay so the castle sorcerers (friendly ones) contained its power on a magic pedestal. Only a spell so great could take it out.

"I want someone to find that sword before anything worse happens!" Said King Julius as he walked into the training grounds. "I don't care if you use the sword, but just get it back. I want the best soldier to go find it and kill the one who stole it. So I will be holding a tournament to see who will go. Five sundowns from now is when we shall begin the tournament. I will be offering my daughter for marriage to whoever gets that sword and restores peace to Hyrule." Then he walked away.

Murmurs and whispers were heard. Then everybody started training. I trained my hardest to hone my sword-handling.

I trained and trained and trained as much as I could. Then, before I knew it, it was the last night of training. I told myself I was ready and went to bed.

It was the day of the tournament. I woke up got dressed and went outside to Hyrule coliseum, where the tournament was to be held.

"AAAAALLLRIGHT SOLDIERS, WHO'S READY TO FIGHT FOR THE QUEST?!!" shouted Neville.

    "ME!" shouted almost everyone.

"Alright some enthusiasm!" Said King Julius with a smile. "Okay this is how we are going to do this tournament."

He explained the lineup of who will fight who. He explained that whoever forfeits, loses, or whoever has the most bruises after the required period of time of each battle which the King would decide.

My first battle was with Gary, which wasn't that hard. I reached the semifinals and I was battling a young man named Draco. It took a while but eventually I won. My last battle was with Cedric. It was hard, the hardest battle I've ever fought. He seemed determined to win this. Just like everyone was. After all, it Princess Zelda was the prize.

After a long battle we were both exhausted. He fell on the ground and I was about to land that last blow and he shouted:

    "STOP! I FORFEIT!"

The crowd fell in silence. They were as surprised as I was. Cedric was the kind of person who would never give up.

"Well...I guess Link is our winner!!!" Shouted King Julius.

    The crowd roared.

After the battle, Cedric stood up and walked out of the coliseum I followed him but as soon as I reached the exit, I was swallowed by the crowd and I lost sight of Cedric. I was congratulated by the big crowd of soldiers. I thanked them as I tried to get out.

When I got out, I found Cedric and I asked him:

    "Why did you do it?"

"Do what?" asked the silver-haired boy.
