Truth or Dare - Gus P.O.V

"Well.. We could play truth or dare!"
"That sounds nice"
...
"So Matt, truth or dare?"
"Hm.. Dare."
I wondered for what was a good idea...There!
"I dare you to.. uhm.. Tell me a secret!"
Matt stayed silent for around a minute
"Uhm... I never wanted to join Glandus High, my parents forced me into it"
"Oh.. That sucks"
The room stayed quiet for an awkward amount of time
"Gus, Truth or dare?"
"Truth!"
"Why didn't you react when I became the HAS president?"
"If I'm honest.. I couldn't care less about it, plus, if I didn't do that, Luz would be forced to be banned forever"
"Why do you even defend that human?"
I stared at Matt in confusion, Like how does he think that? She's just as normal as all of us!
"She's my friend! Imagine Willow asked me 'Why did you save Mattholomule?' I would tell her that you are my friend! Well at least I think you are my friend.."
Matt slightly blushed, maybe he's sick..
"Uh Gus..? Why did you save me? Even after I was such an asshole to you, you still helped me"
I felt my face heat up a bit, I just felt like he doesn't deserve to be put in this hellhole, even if he was a jerk
"Matt! You can't curse!"
"Ha! Just answer my question idiot!" He hit my arm
"Fine! Well.. Even if you were a huge jerk to me and pretty much everyone, you don't deserve to be put there, nobody does. Plus, why would I let a potential friend get hurt on his first day?"
"Wow.. t-thanks"
"No prob.."
I haven't noticed that I have placed my hand on his, and both of our faces turned into a new shade of red, I really am starting to think we are sick.. I'll ask Luz for some help, maybe it's a human thing she brought
"Oh! S-Sorry Matt, I didn't notice that I did that" I awkwardly chuckled
I hear him mumble something under the lines of  "it was fine.."
"Err.. Matt? I couldn't hear that too well"
"Huh? I-It's nothing"
Once again, his cheeks were bright red, I'll ask him why..
"Matt..? How come your cheeks are bright red? Are you sick!? I'll get my Dad!"
"M-Maybe this is something your human friend brought?"
"Then there's no time to waste!"
I grabbed his hand and rushed out the front door
"Gus? Where are you going?" My dad questioned
"To Luz! I'll be back in a bit don't worry!"
I shut the front door and started running..
Not noticing I was holding hands with Matt the whole time..
