"Gus! W-Wait!"

It was too late, he had already left the room..

As I pace around the room trying to think on "Are we still friends? Does he like me back? Does he want to never see me again?? Oh titan.." Without realizing, I said that all aloud.

"Matt.." Luz tried speaking to me

"L-Listen Luz, I'm not sure if I can do this, it's just.. Too much to handle, you know?" I replied with a fast and nervous tone

"Matt, I understand that this is all so new, but I'm sure this is just a bump in the road for you two!" She attempted to cheer me up, of course, that simply made it worse

"I'm sorry, but I don't know what to do! First, you film the whole thing, then you say it's ok? What will my parents say when they find out Im a faggot!? They'll- t-they'll.." I started to plummet to the floor while sobbing.

"Matt! It is ok! There's nothing wrong with liking guys, trust me." She reassured me

"I know it's fine, but they don't think i-it is" I struggle through words

"Dude, if you want me to help, you have to tell me, who is 'They'?" I felt like something was holding me back ,making me unable to answer. Scared of what will happen if I tell them..

"I'll t-tell you.. Just please don't tell another soul, and cover your ears please Amity." I tell them

Amity looks at me with a glare that can possibly kill me, then she slowly covered her ears

"Can you tell me now? I want to know what is hurting one of my friends, so I can beat them up!" Luz jokingly said the last bit of the sentence.

"Fine.. Promise not to tell anyone..?" I questioned

"I promise, your secret is safe with me, unless if its your parents, then I half to report that to the Emperor's Coven, but I don't think people are that cruel here" She responded to me

I stared off after she said that and I ran off to a nearby closet, tears began to form in my eyes, then slowly flooded out like an ocean. What will I do now? If my mom gets taken away, who will help? I'm sure it's not Gus after the 'Me accidently kissing him' incident, but getting fostered will be worse..

"I-I'm sorry Matt!! I actually didn't know! I thought you had normal parents, I swear!" Luz told me through the closet door

I stopped sobbing for a little to hear her

"I-It's fine, but my parents were nice before, this only started recently.."

"Are you ok with telling me? You don't have to if it makes you uncomfortable" She asked me

"S-Sure..It started when.."

Flashback

"Dad! You're back from the trip! I missed you!" I exclaimed as I hugged my father

"I missed you to ₥₳ĐłⱠɎ₦.. Wait.. Where's your mother?" My dad questioned

"She's been in her room this whole time, Mom has also been drinking lots of this drink called 'Apple Blood X', It tastes gross.." I answered

"₥₳Đł, Has she been acting mean?" He asked

"W-Well, she did hit me a few times and call me bad things.. But she said sorry afterwards!"

"Show me your arms. Now." He demanded

I slowly rolled up my hoodie sleeve after mumbling 'ok..'

My dad grabbed my arm in horror and stared at it for a good 5 minutes

"What were some of the names she called you?"

"Mom s-said I was something called a 'Fag' and a 'Tranny'.." I sadly answered

"Stay in your room, son. Don't leave it until I say so"

I had a wide smile on my face after he said that

"Okay Dad!"

Back to present

"After that day, they got a divorce and my dad didn't gain custody over me because of his previous way of life, so I'm with her most of the time. And if my Mom is taken away, I'm only left with nothing.."  I finished off

"Hey.. I'm sure that Gus still loves you, I know you can stay with him. But I have to tell this to the Emperor's Coven, I'm sorry, I can't leave you suffering with her" Luz repiled

"You know what? Take her away!" I opened the closet and loudly said to her

"I'm fucking tired of her ruining my life! I'm done living in her god damn shadows! I'm not going to let her hurt me anymore!" I answered proudly

"Wow- Uhm, Great..?" She said in a puzzled tone

"Luz listen, I need you to take her away to the Emperor. Next week, I'll come here saying it's a secret bar, then you can send out.. Somebody, to take her away. Deal?"

"Oh, good plan Matt! I know the perfect guy!" Luz exclaimed

"Thanks! See you.. Next Sunday!" I yelled while running down the stairs,

After I left the house, I knew exactly where to go, to Gus.
