Extremism

By definition, extremism means the holding of extreme political or religious views. Extremism itself is isn't all that new in America. Take the KKK for example. The klan itself having existed in three distinct eras. Each has advocated extremist, reactionary, positions. These positions include but aren't limited to white nationalism, anti-immigration, Nordicism, antisemitism, anti-Catholicism, and many more. Their first appearance was in the wake of the American civil war. Despite having possibly killed thousands they have yet to be labeled as a terrorist group by the FBI.

With that said ever since the death of Sam Quinn, there has been a rise in extremist activity. The majority of them being black movements. With this in mind, it's about time that you get to know a few of them.

BAD.

BAD is short for black armed and dangerous. Despite the name, BAD is purely anti-violent. Not only that but they also denounce other black moments they perceive to be a threat.

The group was created around the early 2000s. The creation of the said group was a direct response to the discriminatory history of gun control. With that said the founder of the said group was a white man reportedly raised in a black household. Despite this, there are over 4000 black members currently associating with the organization. BAD mainly believes that every black individual in the United States has the right to be armed. They are also against police violence, but stressed that not every member of law enforcement is bad. Instead of believing in police reform or defunding the police they instead think that both officers and civilians should be more open with one another.

FTK

FTK is short for fuck the kkk.

FTK is a loose collective of individuals who openly target members of the kkk including their families. The origins of the movement are highly debated. However, experts believed that it started around 1980. Only to pick back up once the death of Sam Quinn death hit national news. Because FTK is more of an ideology rather than an organization the belief system varies from person to person. The only thing they all seem to have in common is their belief in violently opposing the Ku Klux Klan. Despite not being a clear organization there have been links between this supposed ideology and individuals of color. Mainly young black men. However, since Quinn's death members have turned their focus towards the government and those serving it. Their exact number is currently unknown.

SDSS

Witch is short for the sons and daughters of slaves.

Starting in 1998 SDSS is a group consisting of individuals who believe that black people as a race should receive reparations. They also believe that law enforcement as a whole should be completely abolished. For year's members of the organization took part in political affairs. Trying and failing to make their dreams a reality. When that failed they used violence as a last resort. Targeting those who stand between them and their apparent goal in terms of the number they stand somewhere between 900 and or 1000.

BFF

Black freedom fighters.

This organization is by far the most dangerous black extremist group in America. While they weren't the biggest in terms of manpower, numbering only at 200 they more than make up for it with sheer firepower.

Not a lot is known about them. What is known is that they began operation around mid-May in 2006. In that same month, seven police officers were shot while on duty. Out of the seven, only three of them managed to fully recover. With one being paralyzed from the waist down. The rest weren't so lucky.

Not long since then more police targeted shootings had occurred. It wasn't long before those responsible made themselves known to the public.

A video was posted online.

In the said video was a masked individual declaring that they were the ones responsible for the shootings. Not only that, but they also promised retribution to those who enforced the law.

"The time has come for us to rise and fight back against those who seek to do us harm."

Ever since then the group has committed several violent acts towards police officers as well as a few politicians. All while somehow possessing high caliber weaponry and explosives. With this in mind, the FBI went ahead and declared the group a domestic terrorist organization. Going as far as labeling them, a hate group

With this said however there is zero evidence to support this claim.

Regardless the question of who is leading them and what are they trying to achieve remains unknown. Some have argued that they have no reason. That they are committing violence purely for the sake of it. Others look at police history and think that it alone could be the cause. Unfortunately, no one knows for sure

Since the death of Sam, the group has vowed to get justice. This alone sent fear into people's hearts. They didn't want the country's already fragile state to worsen. They also fear that the group will end up bring about a race war. Of course, with this in mind, they forgot one little detail.

The war has already started.
