Chapter 1: Superior

I'm... Pregnant?

That was Rhiannon's thought when she heard it from the strange doctor. Her crystal blue eyes could only went wide for so much surprise. Shock is the only word that could only reflect on her face.

"I am freaking pregnant?!" She quickly grabs the collar of the doctor, Rhiannon cannot notice this but using her 'strength' alone, the doctor's body was now dangling in the air. No other people can see this since Rhiannon has her own hospital room.

However, If the people saw Rhiannon do this, they can only stare at the woman with jealousy.

Her body strength is clearly for the 'Superiors'...

Rhiannon's face became serious while staring at the man intently. Her eyes were carrying some certain reactions, and the first reaction is Excitement. 

"Are you freaking kidding me?! Are you telling the truth?" She asked. 

Her voice echoed to the whole room disturbing the patients in the next rooms. The doctor was shocked because of the woman's strength but his face remained calm. 

"A Superior?" He uttered. 

He tapped Rhiannon's hand as he signaled him to put him down.

After Rhiannon did what he requested, the doctor took a deep sigh. "Indeed, My 'Superior' You are pregnant"

"P-pregnant? How?" She asked but there was also a hint of joy on her face.

"It's obvious my 'Superior', you did the 'deed' with your husband" The doctor bluntly replied while fixing his coat's collar. 

"Doctor, you're too blunt!" Rhiannon shouted, she suddenly felt the urge to slap the doctor, but it's the truth anyway. 

However, she doesn't care about that anymore.

A toothy grin appeared on her face "B-but I'm pregnant?! Really?! That's good!" She uttered happily. 

Normally, people in her situation will panic or freak out, but that was not the case for Rhiannon. She never had a husband or a child in her past life, she will never have it in her previous life since she's infertile.

This means transmigrating in this body is the greatest gift of all! She doesn't need a husband! It's really okay if she doesn't have one! That's not really important, what matters the most is she's pregnant!

A small smile escaped from her lips while caressing her stomach. "A baby bun," she said with the gleam in her eyes.

The doctor was in a daze while looking at the happiness in the Lady's eyes. He took a deep breath. "You should rest now Superior, Don't waste Adelpha's money for nothing"

"Ummm, wait! Why are you calling me 'Superior'? Was that my given name?" She asked with a confused face. Rhiannon wanted to tell the doctor to call her 'Annon', her nickname, but he's calling her 'Superior'.

That was surely a weird name if ever.

The Doctor became stupefied, he almost forgot that the woman doesn't have her memories. He took a deep sigh. "I hate explaining but since you're a Superior, I will explain it to you," He said. "You're stronger than me, that's why you're a Superior"

"I don't get it" Rhiannon replied. "What do you mean by..." Rhiannon suddenly blinked in bewilderment. "M-my strength... I-I made your body lifted w-with my hands. D-doctor! What's that?"

"Calm down, it's normal. It's kinda normal. It only means that you're talented in physical strength, but it's not really that special." The doctor paused. "Or maybe not, I don't know, we will only find out if we test your physical strength, I'm not certain about your strength, maybe it's only you're lucky"

"Why don't we test it?" He suggested.

"Doctor! Are you crazy? I'm pregnant, I won't do that!"

"Foolish! The human body is not vulnerable, that's only a myth! With your strength you can beat a bunch of Bronze ranked people into pulp. Pregnant Women are dangerous after all"

"I don't get it! and I won't still do it! and don't call me 'Superior' anymore! Just call me Annon! Plus you're weaker than me because you're old!"

"Fine! Fine! You just don't get it" The Doctor replied. "I can still battle in 'Immortal Arena' and reach the '600th' floor at this age, tsk youngsters, underestimating your old people" He uttered and Rhiannon could barely hear it.

However, if Doctor Hugo's speculations were true. This woman might be 'gifted' with talent. After all, it was rare that someone like this Lady managed to lift his body using only 'strength'. Only a few could do it.

"Anyway, you said you want me to call you 'Annon'? Do you perhaps remember some fragments of your memories?" He asked.

"I don't... but it was at the tip of my tongue" Rhiannon lied without blinking.

She has to keep this as a secret! No matter what!

"Okay fine, Call me Hugo"

Three days passed since Rhiannon woke up to the hospital. This was the day where she would go and leave this place. She had gathered all the important information about this world, thanks to that old man, Hugo the doctor.

That doctor Hugo was a bit annoying and acts too blunt, however, Rhiannon knows that he is a good man. He lent her money and things that she needs when she left for the hospital. He even told her to come back next month for a checkup.

She still has to pay, but he gave her a discount.

Now, to explain the nature of this world...

Rhiannon found out that she transmigrated into a really weird world. Normally, transmigrators would transmigrate to a peaceful world, but this world is not peaceful! There are fights and competitions everywhere.

According to the books that Rhiannon borrowed from Dr. Hugo. Humans in this world are really different from earth. Their physical strength is stronger than the humans on earth, some of the humans here have this type of ability called 'Secondary Vein'

'Secondary Vein' is the additional ability in a person's body that allows them to absorb or manipulate  'Mana'. If you have this type of ability then you don't have to be afraid of your future! They basically call people who have this as 'Genius'

Rhiannon stopped walking when she remembered something. "The man on that ship" She uttered, the memory of that red aura on his finger... "Does he have this 'secondary vein'?" She asked herself. "How did he do it again?"

Rhiannon formed his hands like a gun and pointed her index finger at the trashcan. 

"Bang" she uttered. At first, she thought that it won't work.

However, a red aura from her fingers shot directly to the trashcan and exploded causing it to scatter the dirt around.

"Oh shi---" Rhiannon quickly run away from that place, but she was surprised when her body moved like a swift wind. She quickly stopped running while looking at her hands. "What's happening to me? I have that vein?" 

"Weird, this is really weird" she uttered. She placed her hands at her flat belly, then a smile appeared on her face. "But it's all amazing, right baby?" She said glancing at her stomach. "At least It won't be a hassle to protect you"

Dr. Hugo told Rhiannon that she was currently 3 weeks pregnant. If this body is as strong as humans in her previous world, then she might've experienced miscarriage and lost her baby by drowning.

Drowning at the sea is dangerous. 

They even thought that she was dead when they brought her to the hospital.

"Ah, right" Rhiannon uttered. "I have to find Grandma Adelpha. I want to thank her."

This world has a 'rule', if there is someone who is stronger than you, you should call them 'Superior' no matter what, unless that 'Superior' gave you permission to be called by their name.
