Ashton's POV

The flight was faster than I thought. "Thank you for flying with American Airlines." The flight attendant called and we all walked off the plane into the familiar sight. "Welcome to Australia." I said and took Autumn's hand. The look on her face was priceless. Her eyes lit up, the color in her face returned, and the smile on her face grew fifty times bigger, ok maybe not fifty but it got bigger. "Wow, it's beautiful." She gasped. "I know, oh, there is my mother." I said and walked her over to my mother. The lads went to their families and on their separate ways. "Ashton! I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too." I said and gave her a hug. My mother looked at Autumn behind me and pulled away, "And who are you?" She asked. Autumn got quite and looked down. "Mom, this is Autumn. She and I are dating." I said as walked over to Autumn and took he hand. My mon went silent, but then she ran at and wrapped us in a huge hug! "I am so proud of you!" She shook us as she squeezed us together. "You guys look tired and hungry, lets go back to the house and I will cook you up something."

"Mom, we are fine. I think I wanted rest around for a bit. "

"Ok, How about you?" She asked Autumn, who shrugged. "Not a very talkative one?"

"She is just shy and also you should hear her sing." I said. Autumn looked up, her eyes wide, and said, "Um, no. He's just bluffing, I don't sing."

"Oh, don't worry about it. I am sure you will do fine tonight at the bonfire with the others and their parents."

"What!?" The color in Autumn's face drained and she swayed a bit were she stood. "What's wrong with you, my dear?" Mother asked and felt her head. "She doesn't do well in crowds." I said and walked her out to the van.

In the van mother was asking so many questions. Of course she made me drive,so she could talk. "So what are your parents like? What do they do?"

"Um, Mrs. Irwin, they are dead."

"Oh, I am so sorry for your loss."

"We weren't close."

"What happened? If you don't mind me asking."

"I don't want to talk about it, sorry."

"No, Dear, your fine." I could tell that she really loved Autumn and hoped that I treat her right. "Hey mom?"

"Yeah Ashton?"

"Are the others home?"

"Yes Honey."

"Who's all there?"

"You siblings, my mom, and your cousin and her husband."

"Cool."

"Yep." She agreed. Autumn has been quite the hole time and I am getting the feeling that she wasn't going to speak up and time soon. "Autumn, maybe you and I could go to the beach tomorrow?"

"Sure."

"Awesome, it's a date." I laughed and turned down our drive.

Family poured out of the house and surrounded me. People pushed Autumn out and she ended up on the ground. Standing up, Autumn, brushed herself off and walked over to grab her bag. "Guys It's so nice to see you again. I actually have someone here with me, guys this is Autumn she and I are dating." people's eyes went straight to her. Then my sister ran out and gave her a hug, fallowed by everyone else. "Uh, Ash!" She called. They all backed up and let her to me. She wrapped her arms around me and handed me my bag. "Lets go inside." I said and took her hand.

"So how long have you two been dating?" My grandma asked and patted Autumn's hand. "Um, a week." she said I could tell she was shy and feeling uncomfortable. "Oh that's wonderful." Grandma smiled and walked away. "Ash, why are people asking me so many questions?"

"They just want to get to know you."

"I know I just, I just can't answer any of them."

"Why not!?"

"Because they are about my parents."

"So tell them they died in a fire."

"You mean lie?"

"Yes, no, I mean stretch the truth a bit."

"No!"

"Ok, then tell them the truth."

"No!"

"Then don't answer."

"If I don't would they think I was some slut that has no parents?"

"No, my family would never judge you."

"You sure?"

"Positive."

"Ok, I love you." she smiled and kissed me. "Stop sniogging with my brother!" Harry yelled. "Wow little buddy, Autumn and I are dating. It's fine."

"No it is not!"

"Harry, please."

"No! She's going to take you away and you are gone enough as it is!"

"No, she is not. Just get to know her a bit."

"How can I when she isn't even here!?"

"What?!" I looked over and saw just Autumn's purse on the couch next to me. I jumped up and went around asking if anyone saw were she went, "Oh, she is outside under the Eucalyptus." mother said. I ran past people, until Michel and his family stopped me, "Wow, wow, wow, were are you going?" I just shoved past him and ran out to the old tree on our lot.

Autumn's POV

There was to many people asking questions and with Harry yelling at me, I couldn't take it. I ran outside and hid under the tree. "Autumn! Autumn, please were are you?" Ashton yelled and ran out the door. I saw a low branch and pulled myself up and hid in the leaves. "Autumn please! I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. Please, come out!" Ashton called and slumped down to the ground. I didn't want to say anything, but gravity had different ideas. My shoe fell of and fell into his lap. "Autumn?" he stood up and scanned the trees for me. When he found me he climbed up and sat on the limb with me. "I am so sorry." he said and pulled me close. "No you're fine, it's just me I don't do well in crowded situations. Sorry I ran out."

"No you are fine." he said and rubbed my back. I shifted my weight and I heard a snap. "Shit!"
