Chapter 29 AUTUMN

I was so board for the two days that I had to be in bed after the doctor missed a cut in my lung. "Hey wake up!" Ashton yelled. "What?" I snapped and opened my eyes and saw that my room was decorated with streamers and balloons. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all yelled and Noel yapped her little bark. "What, how long did this take you?" I asked as Ashton came over and planted a kiss on my lips. "A day or so."

"Or so?"

"I have somewhere to take you after the boys give you your gifts. I will give mine when we get there." He smiled and patted my arm. "Were are we going?" I asked hoping I might get him to say. He just laughed as the boys came over and handed me a bunch of gifts. "Here open mine first!" Michael said and placed a pink and red box on my lap. When I opened it, it had a first aid kit, in it was a note saying, "You might need this. Happy birthday." I laughed and gave Mikey a hug. Luke was next, his was new bandanas and a case so I could put them in so I didn't have to take Ash's. Calum's had a case of Twisters, a book, movies, chocolate, free punch coupons, and a note taped to the box, "Autumn's in case Ashton pissed her off kit." Once I read that out loud, Ashton punched Calum. "Thanks so much, for everything, I didn't expect any of this." I said and patted my fat shiba's head. "Alright you get changed and I will take you out." Ash said and walked out of the room fallowed by the rest.

After a nurse helped me get into my chair she took me out to the lobby. I put Noel's harness on and she waddled along with me. When I turned the corner I saw Ashton, in a suit, standing by the door holding a bouquet of flowers in his hand. "I will take her." he smiled and handed me the flowers. The nurse laughed and walked away to to do whatever nurses do. "My lady," He said and bent down to kiss me. "May I?" He continued. I laughed and pecked him on the cheek. He pouted and walked me out to a limo parked outside. "Now will you tell me where we are going?"

"Nope."

"Come, on."

"Nope."

"Please."

"Nope."

"Come on, please."

"Nope, not telling you." He said and tried to kiss me but I put me hand up in front of him and stopped him short.

The hole way there I was asking and complaining that he won't tell me. Ashton would just laugh and when we were there he covered my face with a bandana and took me on a very bumpy path. Noel was lapping alone next to me and when we stopped he took off the blindfold. He had set out a picnic on the beach. On the blanket was a box that when I opened it it had photo album and lyrics to a song. "What's this?" I asked holding the paper. "The only reason."

"What?" I asked. He smiled and sat on a drum box I didn't see until he sat on it. He started to play and sung, "Oh oh

When I close my eyes and try to sleep
