Kai's eyes fluttered opened to the warmth from leaning on somebody next to him. He slightly turned his head to take in his surroundings. There were grass colored seats placed in narrow rows filled with people chattering amongst themselves. He then looked over to the other side and saw a window that showed him that he was currently in a moving vehicle by how fast they were passing through the scenery.

"Good morning sunshine," the person he was currently leaned over and placed a kiss on the tip of his nose, "Did you sleep well?"

Kai just hummed in response and stretched his arms. Now he remembers where he was. He's currently on a train with Soobin headed towards Gimpo, their new home.

Their new home.

The sound of that leaves a bittersweet taste in Kai's mouth.

"Are you doing alright?" Soobin asked.

Kai nodded vigorously before nuzzling his face back into the older boy's chest, "Sleepy."

"Go back to sleep then," Soobin rubbed Kai's back, "We still have a while before we get there."

Kai didn't have to be told twice. He wrapped his arms around Soobin, as much as he could in the limited space they had, and closed his eyes once again. He felt himself slowly drifting into sleep when suddenly-

THUMP.

Kai's eyes suddenly shot back open and he looked over to his right to see that a girl had fallen down in the aisle next to him.

She grunted and attempted to stand up but quickly fell back down.

"Hey do you need some help?" Kai offered.

"I'm okay," the girl grunted and held onto her side and that's when he noticed that she was bleeding, a lot. That's odd. There's no sharp corners or anything that could have caused such a cut.

"Hey take my seat," Kai said standing up, "I have a first aid kit in my bag and I can patch up that wound for you."

She hesitated for a moment but took up Kai's offer. He helped her up to his seat and took out his kit. She was wearing very baggy clothes and only lifted up her shirt enough for the cut to be exposed.

"How did this even happen?" He asked as he began to clean her wound.

She hissed at the pain from the medicine, "I don't know."

It didn't take long for Kai to patch up the wound and neither of them spoke another word the entire time.

"Alright," Kai had finished wrapping the wound in bandages, "You should be good to go."

"Thanks," she said as she stood up.

"My name is Kai by the way," he quickly introduced before she could leave. Kai was hoping that if she lived in Gimpo too they could be friends so he would know someone who is familiar with that area.

"Ryujin," she forced a smile, but of course Kai didn't notice.

"So do you live in Gimpo or are you just traveling?" he hopefully asked.

She sighed, "I live there."

"Really? Well, this is my boyfriend, Soobin," he gestured to the older boy who blankly watched the two interact, "and we're actually moving there today. I was hoping to find someone who knows a little bit about the area so we aren't so lost."

Ryujin paused, look down at her side, and back up at Kai, "Okay, fine. Do you want to come talk to my friends and I for a bit? We can answer any questions you may have."
