No one really cares

You're so useless

Shut up

It would have been better if you were never born

Shut up

No one wants you

Shut up

You shouldn't exist

Please...

Waste of space

Just shut up

Stupid

Leave me alone

You're so ugly

No...

You should die

No I-

Give up

I won't-

You'll never be a hero

I can't give up...

Everyone hates you

No they don't...

No one believes in you

Yes they do....

The thoughts just kept running through his head. The voices wouldn't silence themselves. Izuku didn't know what happened, the next thing he knew, he was in a corner curled ina ball, crying. He knew he had to calm himself. He didn't want his mom coming home to find him like this, so he got up, going to the bathroom to take a cold shower.

The chill of the shower gave him goosebumps. Shivers racked his body. The cold pierced his skin to the bone. It was distracting. It was just what he needed to forget the voices. He got out after a good twenty minutes. Once he was dressed he decided he had enough time to squeeze in a small jog before his mom got home. With that in mind he got dressed grabbing ear buds, he was off.

It was getting cold outside again. Autumn slithered it's way in without warning. The cold nipped at his nose and cheeks leaving a brilliant rose color behind. His breath came out in short puffs. The scent of burning wood coming from some of the fireplaces was refreshing. He decided to stop at a small Taiyaki cart on his way back home. He got his mother the regular red bean flavored Taiyaki, as he got himself some chocolate ones. He got two each. Then he placed them inside his hoodie and continued his jog back.

The jog was pleasant. The sweet scent of the fish shaped treats drifted to his nose, making his stomach growl in anticipation. The warmth from the treats snuggled against his abs. Thinking back to the previous year, he would have never thought he'd have abs, let alone the scars along his arms from fighting so many villains. If you had told Izuku this would happen back then he would have laughed. Now, he didn't know what to say.

Izuku, deep in thought, didn't realize he made it home till he heard his mother close the car door and greet him. He greeted he back of course, taking half the bags from her arms. Inko had apparently stopped for some groceries on her way home. Izuku's mother always seemed to surprise him. No matter how tired Inko was she always seemed to want to do more.

The went inside the cozy house (over the past year Inko made enough money and decided to leave the apartment and get a house) and put the groceries away. Inko got started on dinner, Izuku helping with anything she'd allowed him to. Tonight Inko decided to make some Oden (normally she'd make this hotpot during the winter, but the fall cold came so quickly it immediately put her in the mood for some) with some takoyaki on the side.

The sizzling of the foods filled the peaceful silence. Izuku started a small fire in the fireplace. The crackling and sizzle making a relaxing aura fill the home. Izuku thought he'd sit on the sofa and wait for dinner since his mother wouldn't let him help, not realizing it was a little too comfortable and he was a little too tired. He, for once, slipped into a (much needed) dreamless sleep.
