No one cares
Izuku still had that nightmare on his mind. The image of his moms, Bakugous, All mights, and EVERYONES bodies mangled and spewed about petrified him. He didn't tell anyone about it. He couldn't. No one would care. Even his hero wouldn't Izuku just knew it.
All Might had given Izuku a workout plan. Of course Izuku did more than what was planned. It kept his mind occupied. Days flew by. Days turned to weeks. Weeks turned to months.
UA's entrance exam had come and went faster than Izuku thought. He didn't think he passed. All of the work he put in would have been for nothing.
Bakugos torment had gotten both better and worse.
What was he to do? There's no way he past. No one would want a hero who breaks their bone on the first hit. Even Allmight told him to give up on his dreams. SURE! He took it back, that doesn't make it any less hurtful. Any less damaging.
He paced around his room, finally deciding to sit and do some grips. Just as soon as he started his mother tumbled in.
A letter from UA!

He got in! He really made it into UA!! Then the thoughts started. What if it was a joke? What if they sent the letter that's a joke?? What if he went there on opening day just for them to send him home again, To laugh at him for actually believing that he could be a hero?
Even so, he would still show.

Time started passing quickly. Between the quirk exam for an opening ceremony to battle training and getting fried by Kacchan to the false alarm or at the time what they assumed was a false alarm, the attack on the usj to the sports festival to the licensing exam to interns then training camp then Kacchan being kidnapped to Allmight losing his power and defeating AFO to getting dorms and to top it off there was the big three and the assignment he completed with them! It's all been a little too much.
He didn't have time to think for himself, to have time alone. There was so much going on. Thankfully it calmed down a bit and Nezu sent them all home for a short holiday. Sadly, he couldn't be thankful for too long because that's when the thoughts and memories started to harass him.
Why would a useless weakling like you even THINK you can be a hero!
