I felt like I was suffocating

"-that's right Jen. On another note; five year old, Ritsu Haru, and his mother, 26-year-old, Ritsu Yuki, were both killed on the new Golden Bridge this evening by a Ritsu Hakuhara, 32 year old husband and father of the two victims. It-" *click*

"Inko, honey, you shouldn't be watching that. It'll stress you out, and that's not good for the baby."

"I know, Hisashi, but that poor baby and his mother..."

"I know honey, it's alright. For now let's focus on you and our baby okay?"

Pregnant Inko sat in her living room holding and caressing her swollen stomach. Her baby was due soon. Inko just couldn't wait for her little bundle of joy to make his first appearance in her life. She already loved him. Nothing, no matter what, would change that fact.

Hisashi only felt slightly bad. He didn't mean to knock her up. He didn't mean to make a kid. Hasashi knew how to fix it though. He'd say he was going on a business trip. Yeah, he'd go to America. He would send money on accasion. Go to as many parties as he wanted. He loved Inko, don't get him wrong. He just wasn't ready to settle down and have a family yet. So he'd keep in touch, help provide for his family, and come back when he is ready, but only after Inko gave birth. He didn't want Inko to go through that alone. Give him a year or two and he'll go to America. Yeah, that's what he'll do. He walked on to get his coffee and Inko's smoothie.

~six hours prior~

"Haku, where are we going?"

"We're going to see the new bridge!"

"Really dad!? Are we really going to the golden bridge!?"

"That's right kiddy-ko! And when we get there I have a little surprise for you and mommy~!"

"A SURPRISE!? REALLY!? YAY!!"

"Yeah... A really special surprise."

".....are you ok dear?"

"Oh yeah, I'm ju~ust dandy. Don't worry about it Hun."

The chocolate haired woman felt uneasy as her husband drove them to their destination. What was with the sudden urgency? The change in mood? The strange phrasing? What was going on in this man's head?
Sitting in the back, the young boy smiled. He hadn't noticed his father acting strange. All the golden haired boy did was stare out the car window wondering about the surprise his father had promised, missing the part where the said man whispered under his breath, "It's not called the bridge to heaven for nothing. It needs to be put to the use it was intended for."

The white haired man grinned. He was going to do something that would change their lives forever. Or, well, his life. After all, the other two would be dead.
