"W-What? I can't do that."

My eyes widen when he offered that to me. Tumayo na rin siya para tapatan ako and he's still holding my wrist, stopping me to leave.

"What if that happened again? I can't have you experiencing that kind of situation."

"I d-don't want to bother you. I mean, I'm a stranger to you."

"So? I don't have a problem with that, and neither do you. You said so yourself."

I blinked twice. I was about to say something pero umurong ang dila ko. He used my own words against me. For a second, I can see that naughty smile of his forming.

I pursed my lips and averted my gaze before I can refocus on him again.

"I-I don't kno – Umph." I tried backing away but I lost my balance. Good thing he was still holding me.

"Woah, are you drunk?" he asked carefully. Umiling na lang ako. "All right. How about you stay at my place just for tonight so at least what you said to the hotel wasn't a total lie and you'll be safe while you're under the influence. And if the bodyguard is gone by morning you can go back to the hotel, I can even find you a new one. Deal?"

I chuckled at what he said and just shook his hand as confirmation.

"I guess I don't have a choice if you put it that way. Thank you." I gave him a genuine smile.

"It's really late, let's take the metro."

"What about your bar?"

"The staff can handle it."

As he said, we took the train to his house. I wasn't expecting this to happen. Nawala na nga sa isip ko na sa France nakatira si Theo, I feel bad that it slip my mind that I even met someone like Theo. With all the things that have been going on, it's hard to focus.

Our time spent in Athens and Rome were fun, we have our banters and silly moments and I really appreciate him helping me out. I already consider him as a friend, and someone I can trust. Even though we barely know each other.

"We have a spare room upstairs. My family is already asleep by now." He opened the door for me and led me inside.

I have never been inside a European house before, the time I spent traveling I always stay at a hotel. This is all too new to me.

"Your family you mean. . .?"

He chuckled, "My Mom, and sister. You don't think I have a wife and a child do you?"

I giggled and shrug my shoulders a little. "You are full of surprises."

Ginala ko ang mga mata ko sa loob. Nothing too different from the setups of most homes. Kitchen, living room, bathroom, the only different thing is the interior design of things.
