"Anna!" Strange walks into Loki and the writer's shared room.

"I'M NOT BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL!" Anna slammed shut her laptop and spun around. "Oh, it's just you,"

"What... who did you think I was?"

"The TVA? AVA? I don't know," Anna looks to the readers. "Only a few of you will know what the AVA is, so explain to the others for me,"

"Have you ever thought about seeing a psychiatrist?" Strange states bluntly.

"If only you knew," Anna whispers, jumping up with a narrowed gaze. "What the fuck are you doing barging into my room for? I could have been in a certain situation I doubt you want to see,"

"Trust me, I triple checked she wasn't in the room, and Friday assured me you only take showers at night,"

"I feel slightly violated," Anna looks to the ceiling.

"Anyways, I need help, and you're my only option," Strange paces in thought. "You know Y/n the best, and I keep getting mixed signals about dates and how to celebrate 6 months-"

"Or you're just stupid," Anna shrugs, raising both hands defensively when he glares. "Dude, just think about this yourself, whatever you think she'll love, she probably will,"

"How would you know??"

"Exactly," Anna saw his confused look, she gave another pointed making him sigh. "Now, go set something up,"

"Got any tips?"

"Sunsets... rooftops?" Anna gives a suggestive shrug which made Strange do a double take.

"Anna, you're the best!" He lifts the writer in the air for a hug.

"If you hug me any longer Loki might stab you,"

"Too late, I'm set on it," Loki walks in holding her favourite dagger. "Run."

He saw the rooftop, grimacing at the state of it. After all this time, not once had either of you bothered to clear it, clean it, or replace items in shambles. "Right to work," he high fives the cloak who rushes to help.

Strange spent the next two days just trying to clear everything up, cover anything he wasn't able to fix with paint, such as the rusting water tower. Also spending time to repaint the chipped away parts as well as replant some flowers in the decaying pots until the rooftop flourished with colour and life.

"Morning, handsome," you yawn, seeing Stephen up and early as usual.

"Morning, gorgeous," he kisses your forehead softly. "How was your sleep?"

"Well, I had another weird dream-"

"Wait, let me guess... Food or work?" This game would happen once or twice a month, Stephen trying to guess something about your dream.

"Food,"

"Alright..." he sat down, fixing on the watch you got him for Christmas. "Someone was some type of food and they were talking to you?"

"Surprisingly no," you laugh, kissing his shoulder sleepily.

"There was a large buffet with a turtle serving you over sized food," he says confidently.

"It was actually a dolphin," you correct making him click his fingers in annoyance. "Dreams have meaning-"

"I don't think anyone will ever know the meaning of yours, sweetheart," he rubbed your cheek lovingly. "I'll be busy today, but I have plans for this afternoon,"

"Will we get a buffet served to us by a dolphin?"

"Sadly, no," he muses. "Just wear something nice and comfortable by 5,"

"5? Late lunch or early dinner?" You were hesitant to let go of his hand.

"Depends how hungry you are," he smirks. "Just get to work, alright?"

"Yes, sir," you wink with a salute before leaving to take a quick shower.

First time celebrating a milestone. Both of you figured a celebration every week or month would be annoying and useless, so after a month a silent decision was made for only the first 6 months then every year after would be an anniversary.

So, who could blame your nervous pacing.

"Y/n?" Stephen knocked on the door twice. "Are you ready?"

"Uhm, yeah!" Grabbing your purse quickly, you check your make up one last time before running to the door and pulling it open. No one. There was no one there... but didn't you just-

By your feet was a small trail of rose petals. The hues of red leading down the hall and towards the other end of the sanctum and not down the stairs. Picking up the first petal, you inspect it with hesitancy. Following it after a bit of thought,

Each step was deafening in the hall, quickening a little after a minute of wandering. Up the stairs to the rooftop, your mind was whirring with ideas on what he could have possibly planned but reality seemed so much better.

Your favourite flowers were growing in pots beside other plants you would count in your top 10–not that you really did have a list, but why did that matter? The walls were no longer a mildew covered concrete, instead painted with a light grey coat of paint, the floor no longer covered in rubble but instead as clean as could be.

In the very corner was Stephen, his hands held tight behind his back. By his feet was a checkered blanket, the illuminating duel candles centering the fabric which was complimented by similar ones around the spot. Two pizza boxes and a small bowl of chocolate covered strawberries were tempting you closer.

The moment he saw you, his heart stopped. No matter how many times he saw you, it would never get tiring. Whether in a ball gown, suit, jeans, sweatpants, or nothing at all, you seem to always leave him utterly star struck.

You were utterly gorgeous. In every way possible.

He could hear the beating of his heart, feel the racing pulse and nervous shake in his hands.

"Happy 6 months, Y/n," he finally greets.
