"How do I look?" Purple and black, the outfit worn adorned every recognizable feature of your suit, minus the intimidating goggles and mask, instead replaced with a loose scarf.

"Alright," Strange dismisses as you frown. "What?"

"I know you hate me but try and increase my ego a little, Doc, it's not like you don't have enough,"

Stephen let the cloak lay on his shoulders as you check yourself in the mirror. His eyes slowly flickered to you, dancing lightly along your features in the mirror before opening a portal, "you look nice,"

Blinking twice, you spin and hurry through the portal. "Did you... just compliment me??"

"I take it back,"

"No, please let me have this!" You plead playfully as he gives a short breathless laugh, shaking his head.

"You're a pain,"

"I'm aware," nudging him slightly with your hip, you see the others waiting down the hall. School corridors narrowing for miles, you were grateful you wouldn't get lost in this teenage maze.

"No fighting, no confidential leaks, no harsh language, no giving away any personal information," Steve looked strictly at everyone. "Peter's identity is to stay secret, he is an intern. Career conversations only- and please keep away inappropriate topics,"

"Okay, I'm offended that that was directed at me and not Tony or Anna," you raise a hand.

"Keep focused, got it?"

"Aye, aye, Captain," Clint salutes before walking off with the rest to enter the gym.

"This is going to be a disaster," the patriotic blonde lowers his face into his palms.

Strange was swarmed with a fair few students. They asked, he answered. Either about medical, career change, life as the sorcerer supreme, so on. In fact, he even enjoyed a few of them, their conversations interesting and funny despite his mostly passive face.

While he excused himself to refill his coffee, he saw you leaning against the wall, distracting yourself with your phone. He knew nothing was that interesting; your eyes looking up and around before back down at your aimless tapping. Grabbing a cup and filling it with tea/coffee, he seemed to remember how you liked your tea/coffee from the early mornings.

"You know, we're meant to talk to the teens, not be one," he held a cup out to your suddenly frightened figure.

"Christ, Strange, are you trying to give me a heart attack?" Hesitantly taking the cup, you take sip, surprised that it was like your usual. "I'm not really any use,"

"You were able to trick me into thinking you were a doctor despite apparently not being one, you have just as much use as the rest of us," people continued to chatter without paying any mind to you both.

"Yeah, but I've been in the same business all my life,"

"Only SHIELD? No part time jobs?"

"Nope..." you saw the question in his features before his mouth opened. "Once The Ancient one found me and taught me to control this shit," purple sparks from your finger-tips, "I was sent to Fury,"

"And before?" He watched as you tensed, magic having disappeared. "Maybe some want to be a SHIELD agent when they're older," Stephen shrugs, changing the subject.

"I'd recommend anything but that,"

"Then tell them, give them a look into the reality of it," Strange points his yellow glove out. "They won't know unless you tell them,"

"Nat and Clint are there to tell them," you mumble dismissively.

"Come on, L/n, what are you really afraid of?"

"Nothing! I'm... I just," you pause for a moment, "I just don't want to lead them down the wrong path,"

"Wrong path?"

"I don't know- just leave it, I'm fine here," slumping back against the wall again, you look to him as he did the same. "What are you doing?"

"Staying here until you stop doubting yourself," he let the cloak float off him.

"You'll be here all day," you sing in annoyance as the cloak pushes your cheeks together. "Don't you start too,"

It crosses its arms and points to the crowds. Just as you were about to ignore it, you saw Peter sitting with Ned, watching a girl sitting in the corner of the bleachers sketching away.

"Guess we won't be here for long," ruffling Strange's hair, you pull your hood down and saunter over with a smile. Winking once towards Peter, he immediately started to shake his head which you counter with nods. "So... I'm guessing you know what you want to do when you're older?"

MJ looked up with a bored stare before blinking in a hidden shock. "Uhm, no, just not really interested in this all,"

"That makes two of us, and I'm meant to be helping out," kneeling down beside her, you saw a bit of a smile pass her. "Draw for fun? Mind if I take a look?"

"Sure," she chuckles nervously.

"Don't be nervous," conjuring up a small journal you hand it to her. "It's only fair, though I doubt it's anything as good as... this!" you point to her first sketch of the book. "This is amazing, MJ,"

"Thanks- wait, how do you know my name?" She quirks a brow with a laugh.

"Not like Peter doesn't stop talking about you," nudging her slightly, you smirk at her flustered smile. "Oh my god! You-"

"Shut up! Shush!" She claps a hand over your mouth as you stifle your laugh, a few staring.

"Fine, I won't say anything," you cross your heart. "But you might want to hide these," you point to a few sketches of Peter.

"There's nothing juicy in here, it's all water colour sunsets and sketches of objects,"

"I'm not good with people,"

"Asking them out or drawing them?" She laugh as you gape with a playful offense. "Come on, Y/n- you don't mind me calling you that do you?"

"Not at all, but elaborate,"

"Turn to the last sketch," she points to her book, watching as you do so, as well as the fall in your face.

"What the fuck?" You look at her then back to the sketch. "Don't tell me you ship him and I!" The sketch was of none other than you and Stephen, in the corner of the gym smiling and talking.

"I capture what's there!" She says in a dreamy tone.

"Bullshit," you curse in denial as Cap snaps his head to glare at you. "Sorry, Cap-derella," you mouth to him. "It's nothing like that, in fact I hate him and he hates me," you point at her sternly.
