Out Of My Limit

Chapter 2

This one is kind of a filler chapter, hope its good :)

Ashton and I are hanging out by my pool that is going to be covered up due to the fact Autumn will be beginning soon. "Remember all the cool things we did this summer at this pool?" Ashton asks. I laugh thinking about all the fun we had, had that summer. "Like when all six of us had a chicken fight and Calum hit his head on the side of the pool and had to get 15 stitches in his forehead?" I say laughing. We had called him Frankenstein until he got them out.

"See that's something we will never forget. Well him more than us, mainly because he's going to have a faint scar on the top of his face for the rest of his life though." We both laugh. Ashton and I are really close, like he feels like and older brother to me. I can talk to him about anything, and I know he will have someway to help me. We always just meet up and ramble on about random stuff and memories from our childhood.

"Hey Ash you remember that day we all first met?" I say looking out at the leaves. They have already begun to change colors. "Yeah how could I forget? We lads were all little scrubs and you and Jess still wore pig tails and braids. Now those are things we will never live down!" He says laughing and I join along with him.

  "What if things were to have been different? Like what if Jess hadn't convinced me to go talk to Luke? What if that day didn't happen like how did? Do you think we still would have met? Would we still all be as close? I mean what if--" He cuts me off and hugs me, I just realize that I'm crying. Well not exactly I just have a few tears coming down my face.

"Sorry Ash, its just lately I've been trying to think about how life would be like without all of you guys. Each of you help me with something that makes my life easier! Like you are always there to give me advice, Luke is there to cheer me up when I'm sad, Michael makes the best inappropriate jokes to lighten up an awkward moment, and Calum well Cal is the crazy idiot who decides to do thing like jump off someone's shoulders and hit his head on a pool wall, but I say that in the best way!

Its like all or you have a soul purpose in my life like I feel as if you four weren't here my life would have turned completely upside down and inside out by now." I look up at him to see if he has any wise words, and knowing Ashton of course he does!

"Well obviously there is a reason we all met within those few weeks, wheather you want to call it fate or what, we met and it happened. There's no use stressing yourself out over trying to figure out what WOULD have happened, you should just focus on what DID happen and move on from that." He says and pulls me in for another hug. I hug him back the ask, "You know what I have been focusing on?"

He looks down at me and asks, "What?" I look back out at the trees and say "Why you haven't asked Jessica out yet." Before I can even get the sentence out he let's me go and says, "Marrissa Ruth Jackson, why is it that you lot are so interested in Jess and I's love life?!" He says putting his hand on his hip. I laugh, I love it when Ashton gets like this it's hilarious!

"What love life? You two have no love life! I don't see why you don't just ask her out. We all know you two like each other, YOU know she likes you, why not just make a move Irwin?" I lay back in my lawn chair and put my glasses down so I can look up without burning my eyes.

"I could say the same thing to you Jackson, why haven't you tried anything on Luke?" I shoot up out of my chair and tip my glasses back up so I can see him clearly.

"First of all I do not make moves on anybody I don't like conversing that way, secondly, Lucas. Does. Not. Like me! How many times do I have to say that?" I say plopping back down on my chair.

  I cross my arms, great now I can't stop thinking about him! "I think I should know better than the rest of them, I do live with him after all. He talks about you all the time. I also think he might... oh wait I've said too much." He says and puts his hand over his mouth.

I stand up which makes him stand up. "Ashton Fletcher Irwin what were you going to say?" I now have my hands on my hips. "Nope I promised I wouldn't say anything!" He says and takes a step backwards. I start to come towards him, and he starts running for awhile and than soon after that he jumps into my pool, and me really not thinking about I ended, up jumping in with him. He both emerge, but I shove him back down. Once he comes back up I say, "that's what you get for not telling me!" Then we splash around until it gets dark.
