We entered the warm tavern the sound of laughter and song rung through out the place, but even with the drunkards terrible singing it was some how quite cozy.
I take my seat by keaya at the bar diluc was currently tending.

"Good evening diluc, everything well?"
I ask as a sort of hello

He sighed and mumbled something along the lines of "yeah it's alright", he'd really never been one for conversation but I suppose it's the same for me.

"Come on now dliuc, be a little more fun"
Keaya laughed at his disgruntled brother, dliuc only rolled his eyes at him.

"What do you want keaya?"
He asked begrudgingly

"Two dandelion wines for me an the alchemist"
Keaya smiled winking at me

Dliuc silently poured our drinks shoving them over the counter.

Keaya grabbed his drink chugging half the tankard in one go.

"Ahh, still as good as the first time I had it"
He grinned

We chatted for awhile about this and that, it was the most fun I'd had in awhile.
as the night drew to an end I had completely forgotten about my condition.. or maybe it was all the wine.

"And that's when I told him to.. freeze!"
Keaya slurred drunk out of his mind

"Ha ha.. wish i could go on adventures like you"
I say almost as drunk as him

"Same.. I mean I wish you could go with me"
He smiled

"Yeah.. but I got work and a bad cough"
I say disheartened

"Yeah I was gonna ask, what's with your cough"
Keaya asked curious

"I don't even know, it's definitely weird though"
I say knowing I shouldn't, but still the amount of alcohol in my system made it hard to stop talking.

"How so?"
He continued to question

"So whenever I cough it's lik-"

*cough*

There it goes again at the worst timing possible, right in front of keaya and a whole bar of other people.

*cough* *cough*

A rough hoarse cough draws up more flower petals, even in my drunken sate I knew I should try to hide them.
I try to dust any petals the fell onto the bar counter into my lap, but it was to late he had already seen.

"Petals?"
Keaya said wide eyed

I stayed silent scared to say to much again

"Ha geuss there were more in your sleeve"
He drunkenly laughed completely oblivious to what had just happened.

I sighed in relief the event basically sobered me up completely

"We should probably get going keaya it's basically light out already"
I say just wanting to leave after the close call.

"Aw don't be a bummer now albedo!"
He reply's like a child

"Come one keaya, diluc is going to kick you out either way"
I Say trying to convince the very drunk keaya.

"Yeah yeah I'll go"
He finally complied

We make our way out of the tavern keaya leaning on me for support, babbling on about archons know what.
