After last nights scare I tried to just go to sleep like nothing had happened but the nagging thought of the nights earlier events kept me up.
I drag myself out of bed feeling heavy and worn out I don't think I got even a wink of sleep, I make myself a cup of coffee watching the milk swirl in my cup I feel myself starting to doze off..

"Mr albedo!"
Sucrose burst in jolting me awake

"Hmm? What's wrong sucrose"
I say still only half awake

"I sort of exploded an experiment can you help me find out what went wrong"
Sucrose asked turning away embarrassed

"Yeah sure"
I say getting up from my chair and walking with sucrose to her lab.

She explained her whole process turns out she just mixed up the order of a few ingredients nothing out of the ordinary,
While helping her clean up the explosion a book caught my eye.

"Hanahaki for you?"
I read out the title

"Oh that's a book I picked up from the library lisa said it's from inazuma, its about a girl who started to cough up flowers because of an unrequited love"
Sucrose recites I never took her for a romance fan even still the book intrigued me.

"Hm I see.. could I borrow it?"
I say even if this book was fictional maybe it could get me closer to finding out what was causing my cough

"If you want it? Then sure it's no problem mr.albedo"
Sucrose agreed with a smile

"Thank you sucrose, I think I'll head back to my office"
I say waving good bye to her and leaving her lab

I briskly read over the book it was just like sucrose had described a girl fell in love with boy who didn't love her back and because of that flowers grew in her lungs, in the end the girl confessed but the boy rejected her causing the flowers too choke her to death.
It was sad but still fictional right? There weren't flowers growing in my lungs right that's absurd, even still the thought remained what if I really did have this hanahaki disease?
My throat started to itch I could tell another bunch of petals was coming

*knock* *knock*

I tried to ignore the pressing itch in my throat and answered the door

"Good morning albedo getting lots of work done?"
It was keaya again I gave him the best smile I could muster with the urge to cough only growing more prevalent.

"Good morning keaya do you need something?"
I ask

"Yeah the knights headquarters is all out of coffee, I don't suppose you have any?"
Keaya smirked he knew I always had coffee around he came to my office almost every morning nowadays..

"Yeah I'll grab some for you"
I say still trying to suppress my cough until he left.
I grab him some coffee basically throwing it at him.

"Well you seem to be in a rush so I'll leave you alone"
Keaya laughed still with a look of concern on his face
He finally left shutting the door behind him, I started coughing again the red petals falling to the floor in front of me.
The coughs finally calm down leaving me in a mess of blood red petals.
Defeated I scoop them up throwing them in the trash by my desk.
Fictional or not that book might have the answer to my problem so I throw my self down onto my Couch and start really reading and analyzing every page..

"Albedo?"

"Hm?"
I geuss I had fallen asleep while reading

"I made you some tea"
Looks like keaya let himself in, he handed me a cup of tea still he looked concerned

"Oh thank you keaya"

"It's nothing"
He smiles I like his smile..

"Why the sudden gift?"
I ask he looks slightly uncomfortable at my question

"Uhm well after you gave me coffee I heard you coughing so I thought I'd make you some tea"

"Oh I appreciate it.. thank you"
I look down at my cup slightly embarrassed why was I embarrassed?

We chat for a little about work and such before keaya gets up saying and leaves probably for work.. I should get to work...
