-Time skip to three years-

Loki landed on his back panting, "nicely done...you're getting better at telling which is the real me and which isn't" he told me as I smiled and helped him up. We had become fast friends since my birthday three years ago. "Can I steal my girl for a moment?" I heard Buckys voice say as I looked over at the door and saw him leaning against the frame smiling. "Buck!" I shouted as I ran towards him. He had been gone on a mission with Sam for the last month. "I missed you!"I exclaimed as I wrapped my arms and legs around him, "I missed you to doll" he smiled as we kissed. He set me down and I looked at Loki who was staring at the ground, "Loki and I were about to go get something to eat, wanna come with?" I asked Bucky as Loki looked at us, "you two go ahead...you haven't seen each other in a while..." he gave me a fake smile, I knew how Loki looked at me because it was the same way I had started looking at him. Only, I was better at hiding it. "Thanks, dude" Bucky smiled as I smiled a little and left with Bucky. Bucky and I went to the kitchen, "hey babe..." I started as he searched the fridge for food, "hmm?" he hummed, "can we talk?" I asked as he closed the fridge, "that's never a good sign" he spoke standing across from me.

"It's nothing bad...okay, so I have this friend back home...she loves her boyfriend, but she's also in love with another and doesn't know what to do...what would you recommend?" I asked as he thought for a moment, "I'd tell her to do what her heart wants...I know that's a cheesy answer...but..." he spoke as I ran my fingers through my hair, "oh! I wanted to ask you something" he smiled as he walked around the island and stood in front of me, "Bucky I know you're excited to back and everything but this is seriou-...", "marry me" he spoke cutting me off, I stared at him, "w-what?" I asked, "I know you're not big on traditions for most things...so I didn't get down on one knee like most men, "Y/n Stark...will you marry me?" he asked as my eyes grew wide. 'Oh god...what do I do now?' I mentally asked as I opened my mouth, "Y/n, can you come to the Tech Lab for a moment?" my father's voice asked over the coms in the compound, "y-yeah on my way, we'll continue this when I come back" I told Bucky who nodded. I walked off to the Tech Lab, once I was out of Bucky's sight I took off running.

I ran into the Tech Lab and started pacing. "You're welcome" dad spoke as I placed my hands on my head, "I'm so fucking screwed!" I told him as I looked at him with tears in my eyes. "Hey, hey. It's okay! I know Bucky kinda dropped that on you...but that's no reason to cry" he spoke as he hugged me tightly, "it's not that dad...I-I've fallen in love with Loki..." I told him as he stared at me in shock, "oh..." he simply said, he looked behind me, I turned around and saw Loki standing there staring at me in shock. 'Fuck my life!' I mentally screamed as my eyes grew wide, "hey doll...Steve has another mission for Sam and I so I'll be going here soo-..." Bucky cut himself off when he saw the tears in my eyes, "Hey, you okay?" he asked as I wiped my eyes, "yeah..." I nodded, but I didn't believe me because he glared at Loki and had Loki pinned to the frame of the door by his metal arm. "What'd you say to her this time?!" Bucky growled, "BUCKY!" I shouted as they all looked at me, "leave him alone, he didn't do anything. It's something completely different...just don't worry about it", "is it because I asked you to marry me?" Bucky asked as letting Loki go who stared at me in shock. "N-No...just don't worry about it...just go to your mission...I need time to think..." I told him as he nodded and gave me a quick kiss before leaving. "You're..." Loki started but I walked past him, I knew he was hot on my trail. I walked into my bedroom, he followed, he closed the door. "Y/n, please talk to me" Loki spoke as I sighed, "Loki...I-I'd rather not talk to anyone right now," I told him, he stepped closer, I could feel his body heat radiating from him. He was directly behind me, I'm sure if I took a step back I'd run into him.

He moved aside some of my hair off my neck and took a step even closer. His chest was now against my back. I stared at the ground, lost in thought, "Y/n...please talk to me" he whispered as he wrapped his arms around me. I instantly melted into his embrace, leaning my head back slightly, closing my eyes, and letting out a sigh. My head slightly to the side giving him a better view of my exposed neck. One of my arms traveled up and my fingers tangled with his hair as he leaned down slightly and let his nose trace up my neck. "Talk to me pet...is what you said in the Tech Lab true?" he whispered in my ear as I sighed, "yes" I whispered, "tell me again...", "I love you Loki" I whispered, I felt him smile against my skin slightly. "I love you too, Y/n" he whispered as I looked at him slightly, he placed his finger under my chin, lifted my face up a little, and kissed me. When we kissed it was like a million fireworks were going off inside me and it was like we were the only two. Bucky and I had never shared a kiss like this before. It was amazing.
