Annie

I woke up alone in the room Blake gave me. I was so confused. I swear I was getting kidnap like maybe 2 seconds ago. I checked the time. 10:43 p.m. huh. I got up and left the room once again. This time I went looking for the stairs. Once I got there I heard a ding. My eyes widen. I then ran down the stairs looking back repeatedly hoping that the ding came from some where else.

" Woah woah woah, slow your roll." Somebody said concerned as I turned around bumping into them. I looked up at Blake. I then hugged him.

" Is there somebody up there?" He asked as he tensed up. I shrugged. I felt his arms slip around my waist. I buried my head in his chest.

" I'm going to go check, ok." He said getting me off him and walking up the stairs. Once he reach the top, He looked around.

" There's nobody up here." He said turning around.

" B-but I heard the elevator ding." He chuckled.

" That was me checking them."

Blake

" Then what about before? Was that your guy that attacked me?"

" Nope." I said with a pleased smile while walking away.

Flashback 2 hours ago

I was walking up the first flight of stairs when I saw the elevator going up. Because of the elevator being see through I can see exactly who is in there. There was a guy in a suit. I continued walking. I looked once again only to find myself questioning which guard was it. I took out my walkie talkie and said ' What's your status'.

The guy looked unbothered, like he didn't hear me. I watched as he looked at his wrist to check the time. I then saw the bird tattoo. Shit. I started running up the stairs. The elevator hit the third floor. Shit Annie is up there. I saw her get in as soon as I got up there. The elevator started going down. I ran all the way down the stairs and sped off to the elevator. I pressed the button. I decided to make this fun and not use my gun. The elevator door opened after 3 seconds. I immediately punched the guy in his face. His head hit the elevator wall. I kicked him in the stomach and pushed him to the other side of the elevator causing his head to hit the wall so badly that he passed out. His body slid down the wall. I picked up Annie and got out the elevator. I saw my guards coming up. Guess we were noisy.

" Take him to the torture chamber." I said while going back to the stairs and taking Annie to her room. Once we got there, I used my left hand to fix up the bed so she can lay there and my right to carry her. She's pretty light. I hope she eats.

I set her on the bed and tucked her in. I looked at her. A small smile took over. I realized that I was smiling so I turned away and walked out the room.

Now

" Wait so who was that?"

" Don't worry about it darling." She groaned.

" When are you going to sleep?"

" Oh so you want to sleep with me now, ay." I said turning to her with a smirk. I loved messing with her. It's hilarious. She turned red causing me to smile.

" N-no. I-. well." She stuttered out. She then scoffed and walked away.

" Your ridiculous." I laughed.

" I'm going to take a shower and then I'll be there." I yelled at her. She just nodded her head.

Annie

Once I reached the room, I brushed my teeth. When I finished I flopped on the bed and groaned. This was ridiculous. I was ridiculous. He is ridiculous. I crawled more onto the bed and got under the covers. I cuddled into the blanket and fell asleep.

10 minutes later
Blake

After I showered, I decided to fight the not sleeping in me. I was going to sleep and feel at peace again. I walked into the kitchen and ate a bunch of snacks. I went to the living room and turned on the tv. I sat on the black couch and start looking for a movie to watch.

1 hour later

Shit. I didn't even try fighting. I turned off the tv and went to put the empty bowls in the sink. I went upstairs to my bathroom and brushed my teeth again.

After I finished I went to Annie's room. I quietly went in. I turned on the lights and see her asleep on the bed. Before I turned the lights off I looked around the room making sure nobody was here or if somebody planted cameras while we were not in here.

After the room check, I turned the lights off and walked over to the bed. I quietly groaned thinking about all the things I can do right now instead of sleep. I sighed and crawled into the bed. I covered myself in her blanket. I stared into the darkness of the room.

30 minutes later

I sighed for about the twentieth time maybe. I turned over and looked at Annie. I slowly moved over to her. I wrapped my arms around her. She was warm. I slowly moved closer. I smelled her hair. It smelled like coconuts. I started thinking about how life could be like if I lived in Hawaii.

I'd definitely be free. And I can actually go to the beach. And feel the sand in between my toes, or running away from the waters. Do people actually run away from water? Like that sounds stupid to do. At the end of the day you shower in the same water. Just filtered. Maybe I could actually drink from a coconut. Do people actually do that?

I felt Annie move closer to me as I was distracted in my thoughts. I slowly started falling asleep.

Maybe I should take her to Hawaii. It could be fun. We could run in the sun. And watch the sunset. And then the stars. Stars are pretty. And shiny. And twinkly. And bright. And the ocean waves...there good too... swim... with the coconuts....

I fell asleep
