"So, Lexie. What brings you here?" The pink haired man asked as he watched the teens outside.

"Well, Kaoru. My dad wanted a break from me and just sent me here after letting me pack my bags and signing me up for school so here I am!" She said, obviously finding this whole situation amusing. Kaoru sighed.

"Uncle is such a jerk sometimes... Alright! You can stay here. Unpack your bags and we'll set some rules after dinner. We are going to Sia La Luce so be ready in a few hours." The pinkette said. "Carla, what time is it?"

"Hello master, it is 4:07pm. Good afternoon."

"Thank you, Carla." Cherry was always very happy talking to Carla, even though she was only an AI. He was very proud of himself for creating her.

"Ooh! Awesome I get to see your husband again!" Lexie ignored him being a computer nerd and smirked knowing they hit a nerve.

"He is not my husband! I would never marry that dopey gorilla!" He said, hiding his obviously flustered face behind his fan.

"Alright alright. Future husband then." Lexie said. Kaoru just sighed knowing he wouldn't win the argument and went to his room to finish paperwork. They chuckled and went back to the alleyway behind the school where she hid her bags and sprinted back. They slammed the door and went to where they would be staying for the next few nights aka the living room couch. Downstairs was Their cousin's office where no one was, currently. It was a slow day for Kaoru Sakurashiki in the business but he didn't mind the break. It was around 5:30 and they decided to get going to have dinner. They walked past a few fun sights and even saw the boys who Cherry saw meet outside his office at the skatepark, practicing but falling a lot.

"Gorilla! Get me and Lexie a table!" Kaoru said as soon as he walked in, not caring about the people still dining that might have been annoyed.

"Lexie's here?!" Joe gasped and wiped his hands as he poked his head out. "Hey kiddo! How's the dad? Still a douche?"

"How'd you know?" Lexie smirked.

"Just a hunch." He winked and pulled them into a hug. "I missed you! Visit more often! How long are you staying?" He asked and pulled out of a hug and Lexie took a huge gasp after being released from his suffocating chest.

"Well I have been temporarily kicked out and don't know how long I'm staying this time but I hope it's long." Lexie explained. Joe nodded understandingly. He wasn't surprised that Lexie's dad would pull something like this but his blood was boiling anyways. He sat them down at the counter and started cleaning some wine glasses on the other side. Lexie's dad wasn't always this bad but when their mom left when she was 7, he started smoking and making bad choices. He hooked up with people every night and tried to give Lexie different drugs and alcohols while he was drunk or high off of something. He never actually ever tried to physically hurt her but was definitely not very nice when he was on something. She was able to take the public transit at night when he was out so she visited a lot of France. It was fun learning about their culture and liked the different foods. It wasn't called the city of lights for nothing and Paris was beautiful at night. It was one of her favorite places to visit. When Kojiro and Kaoru visited Paris they acted as their personal guide. During the day when their dad was sober he wasn't that bad but she still didn't really like being around him because she didn't trust him. And that is how their trust issues were created.

"Are you coming skating tonight?" Kojiro asked. Lexie thought about it for a moment.

"Possibly. My skateboard got destroyed by a jerk from the skate park who thought it would be funny and wanted the skate park to himself but he ran away after my first screech." They said, very proud of themselves. Kojiro laughed.

"Never change, Lex! Anyways I think I have an old skateboard that you can use. What do you think?"

"I guess I'll come. Can I have the carbonara?"

"You're just like your cousin." Joe chuckled and went back into the kitchen. Lexie and Kaoru made small chats about different things like school, the other transfer student from Canada, and even an old friend from France who made their skateboards until the topic of "S" costumes came up.

"What did you want to do for your costume?" The calligrapher asked.

"Well I was just thinking about a hoodie, my black ripped jeans, awesome eyeliner and my monster energy mask. What do you think?" She asked.

"Well it's definitely a lot different from mine and the idiots' costume but if you like it then go for it!" He said supportively. They were happy with the answer and became even more happy when Joe placed hers and her cousins plates filled with pasta in front of them.

It was impossible to get the eyeliner even and Lexie refused to ask for help from her cousin who she knows has experience from his days in high school (he wore eyeliner in high school, you can't tell me otherwise-). They gave up.

"CHERRY!" she screamed. She called him cherry now that he was in costume.

"WHAT DO YOU NEED?" he shouted back.

"MY EYELINER IS TERRIBLE I NEED HELP!....I CAN LITERALLY HEAR YOU SMIRKING STOP IT AND HELP ME!" They screamed, now slightly irritated. They heard him chuckle and glared at him as soon as he entered.

"That won't work on me. I'm your cousin. I have the same glare." He said and scooted closer to them. "Ok now close your eyes and keep them closed until I say so. What kind of eyeliner would you like?" He asked.

"I have a picture if you want to see my inspiration." She pulled out her phone and showed a picture of a long wing on the top and bottom lid with a bit of smoke and mascara drags to look like crying.

"Alright I think I can do this." Cherry said.

"If you mess up I will smite you." They snarled. Cherry laughed under his breath and made them close their eyes again and got to work.
