"Just ignore her..." Kaoru said. He was very embarrassed and hid his face behind his fan. Kojiro noticed this and decided to tease him a bit further.

"I mean, it was good advice." The buff italian smirked. Kaoru's eyes widened and he smacked his hand. "OW!"

"You deserved that. Stop teasing!" He glared. Joe saw the similarity between him and his cousin and he sweatdropped.

"Alright alright!" He laughed. Kaoru's fan was still over his face so Kojiro didn't see the small smile resting on his face.

"Anyways. I'm going to get ready for bed. Don't you dare come into the room!" He warned then walked upstairs. Kojiro was left alone with his thoughts and he realized how Lexie's comment affected him more than teasing about girls did. He shook it off as tiredness and went upstairs to wait for Kaoru to be done changing.

It was a pretty peaceful night after that but Lexie got little sleep. They were up too late crying. The night was the only time she could let out her feelings that she buries. Why did her dad do this? Was she an annoyance? Were they so scary that nobody even looked at them unless they did something weird? Why did she never have any friends that weren't friends because they got something out of it? Why? Why? Why? WHY? WHY?.... They quickly calmed themselves before they started a panic attack. Her adrenaline wore out and she was feeling more tired. This happened a lot at night unless they traveled somewhere they loved such as Paris. There was no Paris in Okinawa. She loved Okinawa and being with her cousin but missed the beautiful lights and dainty cafe's and the rude customers! It just wasn't quite enough yet. They looked at the clock and it was 4:27. In about 15 minutes Kojiro would be getting up to get the restaurant ready to open and cook food. Lexie decided to get up and get a glass of water to wake themselves up before he came down to get ready.

"Hey Lex. What are you doing? It's really early." Joe said, cleaning up the counters to start making his homemade pasta.

"I should ask you the same thing. You usually don't get up until later?" They said while getting down a glass.

"I got up a bit earlier than usual but that also means I only got an hour or so of sleep. Meh, I'll take a nap on my break.. What about you?" They were really glad they were able to cry quietly.

"Had a weird dream. Included tap dancing and sharks. Don't ask.." Lexie lied. Joe gave a small content 'hm' and went back to getting stuff out for his pasta.

"I'm gonna walk to Kaoru's house and grab my uniform. I'll see you in a minute." She said quietly and walked out the door. Kojiro was a little disappointed that he couldn't make an outfit for them but decided that he could play a little dress up after homework. She could tell that Kojiro knew something was wrong but was just leaving her alone for now. They were thankful and continued walking to their cousin's house. It was a nice walk and they could see the ocean from where they were walking. They hoped they would be able to walk back to see the sunrise and ran to the house. Walking upstairs, and nearly tripping over a few things, she was able to find a lightswitch and found her uniform and school bag pretty quickly. Like she was hoping she saw the sunrise as she walked back to her friend's restaurant. It was very pretty and Okinawa sunrises never failed to mesmerize them.

"Did you see the sunrise?" The chef asked.

"Yeah. They are always so pretty! I'm gonna change now, I'll see you in a minute."

"Alright Lex. I have breakfast cooking by the way so wake up Kaoru soon if he isn't up yet please!"

"Alright but if I come back with an injury then you know what happened!" And with that she went upstairs. It only took a minute to tame her very short hair and put on some simple eyeliner. She felt tired so she didn't put too much effort into it. It was now time to wake the beast... She was very cautious in approaching the room and softly knocked on the door to see if he was awake already since it was almost 6:00 now which is usually when he woke up for work. They heard a muffled groan from the other side of the door. They decided to test their luck and opened the door. They saw their cousin tangled up in blankets with a few pillows next to him which they assumed was used to make a barrier. He had on Kojiro's orange and white striped shirt and pajama shorts which were a bit baggy but tightened with drawstrings. His hair was sprawled out and he grunted another time from the brightness of the hallway light creeping in the room.

"Kaoru I know you like Kojiro's clothes and bed but you gotta wake up for work. He's making breakfast!" Lexie said while lightly shaking his shoulder. Kaoru opened his eyes and glared at her and sat up onto his elbows to reach for his glasses.

"Shut up and get out. What time is it and what time is he opening?" He asked.

"It is about 6:00 and he is opening up at 8:00." She answered and walked out the door so he could get situated. She went downstairs to smell french toast.

"French toast for my little frenchie!" Joe said with a smirk.

"Haha, very funny." Lexie said sarcastically. "And I'm not little!" Kojiro laughed.

"Then my below average height frenchie."

"I hate you." They glared as they took a bite of the food. Kaoru came down with his hair tied up in a messy bun and Kojiro's shirt still on. The chef stared at him for a second before quickly looking away and trying to convince himself out of his feelings. Lexie saw this and gave her infamous smirk.

"What's that smirk for, Lexie.." Kaoru said, not wanting drama this early. They took a deep breath.

"KOKO LIKES Y-" Joe quickly leapt over the counter and covered his mouth. Lexie bit his hand.

"OW!" He glared at her. Kaoru was very confused.

"What?" He asked. Kojiro glared at Lexie and she smirked again. She was satisfied with what she had done.

"Oh nothing. I gotta get to school byeeee!" Lexie walked out the door now kind of excited for the day. Then they realized they were going to school.. Welp time to sleep in class I guess. The walk to school was mundane and they were disappointed they got there early. They decided to take a nap while they waited for the class to start. Or maybe end. Students started piling in and chatting in groups, including the students next to them who were talking about "S'' a bit too loudly.

"Hey. You." Lexie said to Reki. He turned to her, still slightly scared even though she explained her bad mood. He didn't want her to be too mad in school again.

"Uh yeah?" He asked.

"Don't talk about S too loud. It's still secret and I'm sure people around can hear you like me." They explained. "It was fun though and you were quite good, blueberry boy." The boys were a bit surprised that they complimented them but smiled and nodded.

"Thank you. Who were you though?" Langa asked.

"I was near the pink haired man and wearing a monster mask." They said. He nodded.

"I remember you. Can you teach me how to do eyeliner? It looked really cool!" He asked. Reki nodded in agreement.

"I can't do that kind of eyeliner but my cousin did it so you can ask him after school? I'm meeting him at Sia La Luce to do homework. I also need to sleep... Anyways I could teach you how to do this kind of eyeliner though if you want?" She lifted her bangs for the first time in class to show her dark green eyes which were accentuated by eyeliner.

"Yeah! It seems like a good beginning lesson! What about at lunch? Meet at the rooftop?" Reki asked, all nervousness gone.

"Yeah sure why not?" After that they focused back to falling asleep. They were in that weird trance in which they could hear everything that was happening but it went by fast and they couldn't really wake up. A slamming book finally woke them up and they jolted up looking at the teacher.

"Don't sleep in my class please, Lexie." The teacher said. They looked up with a glare.

"I didn't get any sleep last night. Let. Me. Sleep. I already know all of this." Even the teacher knew how scary they could be.

"Fine but you need to do extra credit. You'll have a week."

"That's fine with me. What is it?"

"Write a one page explanation on your favorite book and what made the main character reach their goal." The teacher gave them a small help sheet and continued teaching. Lexie was satisfied and went back to sleep, not realizing how her teacher was actually relieved that she was getting sleep. He put a note on her desk while talking and told the class to open their textbooks.
