I got everything packed for the park and then Ava and I were on our way!

Ava was happily babbling and pointing everything out as we made our way to the children's park. "Look!" She says pointing to the airplane flying above. "Yep, it's an airplane." I tell her. She tries to say the word airplane, it comes out more as "awplan" I chuckle a bit and move on.

After 15-20 minutes of Ava babbling and pointing everything out, we reach the park. "Look! Do you see the park?" I say pointing at the play structures. She cheers and we walk in. As fast as she can with her little legs and backpack leash, she runs to the swings.

I lift her up into the black plastic babu swing and begin lightly pushing her. She's happy, her tiny legs kicking in joy. She's giggling as well. I gently push the swing once more and then move around so I'm facing her as she swings back and forth. She's giggling even more now.

If you thought I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings you're wrong. There are 14 other children in this park, all between the ages of baby and 10 years of age. Plenty of moms and few dads. The older children are running around or on the swings, a few on the play structure. The younger are running around or climbing on the play structures.

A kid falls from the monkey bars and cries for his mother. Another trips and her father waits for her to pick herself up after making sure she's not hurt.

A few teenagers arrive and they set up a picnic on the green grass. A picnic sounds lovely. They pull out a wicker basket and begin setting out the food that they brought.

"Fancy seeing you here." Sam says from behind me. It's been a few months since I've seen any of the Avengers. I continue pushing Ava on the swing. "Was beginning to get worried that you didn't like us." Sam jokes.

"No, I've just been busy with school and work stuff." I claim. "I see, how's school going?" He asks. "Pretty good."

He looks at me, suspicious of my answer but nods.

"So, what're you doing in a childrens park?" I ask. "I was out for a run, saw you and thought I'd stop by and say hello." I raise an eyebrow at him but nod.

"Can I ask who you have beef with?" Sam asks. "Well I'm having beef with my family tonight. We're gonna have hamburgers, should be yummy." I say. Expertly avoiding the question.

He laughs and nods, "Alright, yeah. I should get going. I hope to see you sometime soon though." We say our goodbyes and he runs off. I'd say sunset but the sun's not setting.

An hour later Ava's worn out so we head back home. We walk back in to dinner being ready and being brought to the table. I was right. It was delicious.
