Chapter 17

*The next morning*

Zayn's POV

For once, I had woken up earlier that everyone else which gave me enough time to call Perrie before she went out for the studio or whatever she had scheduled today. After we finally hung up, I snuck into the bedroom of Louis' room where we had all fallen asleep last night and I was going to scare the rest of the boys into waking up but I was distracted.

Louis' ringtone filled the quiet room and I was surprised that everyone remained asleep despite how high the volume was.

I walked to where his phone was on the lamp table and I answered it just so I could pass any message along to Louis. I put the phone to my ear and walked out of the room so that I didn't disturb anyone's sleep.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Mr Tomlinson?" The male at the other end asked politely.

"Sorry no, I'm Louis' friend. I picked up because he is still asleep; would you like me to pass a message on to him?" I answered, just as politely.

"Oh right and thank you sir but I will call him back later instead."

The caller ended the call and I shrugged before putting Louis' phone onto the coffee table and pulling out my own phone from my pocket.

My boredom took the best of me and I typed 'One Direction' into Google to check if there was any gossip about our upcoming tour.

I was horrified when the results loaded because I was faced with mind boggling articles about Louis.

'Louis spotted with mystery female and child outside hospital...'

'Louis Tomlinson cheats on Eleanor Calder with mystery chick!'

'Mrs Tomlinson? Louis Tomlinson seen carrying a little boy with mystery lady.'

'Louis reunited with childhood sweetheart...'

I was surprised that there were no articles on our Where We Are tour but the ones I discovered were really shocking. I clicked on each and every article to read what they had to say about all this nonsense.

The first one showed a picture of Louis and Deepika walking into the hospital with Lucas and the article was implying that they went to get tests done to confirm that he was Louis' kid.

The second article began with a picture of Deepika and Louis stood outside in the hotel car park last night where the appeared to be holding hands whilst facing each other; the article suggested that Louis was seeing Deepika behind Eleanor's back and was cheating on her with Deepika.

The third article was pretty similar to the first one but the last article is what shocked me the most. Upon clicking the link, I was led to a page showing a picture of Deepika and Louis kissing in their teenage days; the picture under it showed the couple up against Deepika's car last night. To summarise the article, all I can say is that it told us about the life of Deepika and Louis since when they were little kids up to before Louis auditioned for the X-Factor.

The last article was more believable but it still seemed like a whole load of bullshit gossip to keep people interested, nothing I was going to believe until I was personally told by my best mate.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaa, had anyone seen my phone?!" I heard someone scream like a girl from the bedroom before dashing out of the room to frantically search the living area.

Louis finally relaxed when his eyes fell on the phone lying on the coffee table near the sofa.

"Phew."
