Louis' POV

"Lou, lets just get out of here. Everyone is pretty wasted and the others have already left for the hotel," Harry shouted over the loud music pumping from the ceiling speakers.

Our band had been invited to the pre-tour party which had been held for us just before we left for our tour, which was going to begin in a few weeks. Liam, Niall and Zayn had left the party earlier because we had to meet up with the new bodyguard staff tomorrow and they were quite wasted anyway. On the other hand, Harry had persuaded me to stay for a little longer but now, even he was tired so I helped him to the car.

"Sam, hotel please," I said to the driver as soon as we were seated properly in the back of the car.
He put his foot down and we were immediately heading to the hotel which we were staying in. The alcohol which I had consumed was beginning to dig out some of my childhood memories from the back of my mind and they were invading my thoughts until the car came to a sudden standstill.

"What happened, Sam?" I asked the driver.

"I'm afraid we just hit someone and we will need to take them to the hospital to get them checked up," he replied before stepping out of the car.

Harry and I followed suit to inspect the potential damage caused to the person lay on the concrete floor outside. On reaching the unconscious body, we discovered that it was a female who looked as if she was my age and as far as we could see no physical damage had been done; however, seeing as the female we was unconscious we had to get her to the hospital quickly.

"Sam open the back door, I will carry her in," I instructed the scared driver.

I scooped the lady up into my arms and carried her into the back seat where I lay her down so that her head rested on my lap and her legs on Harry's lap.

"Hurry up Harry!"
"Coming Louis, I was just picking up her belongings. Her phone, purse and other stuff had fallen from her bag," Harry explained once he got into the car and Sam drove once again.

During the drive to the hospital, Harry kindly sorted out the girl's bag by putting the stuff back into the pockets which he thought they belonged in.
As the hospital wasn't far away, we reached in 10 minutes. This time Harry carried her in his arms whilst Sam informed Paul of what had happened. Sam disconnected the call quicker than we thought he would and without telling us anything he led us into the A&E ward.

"How may I help you?" The receptionist asked.

"I was driving when we hit this girl and now she is unconscious. Can you please ask a doctor to tend to her quickly?" Sam said to the woman behind the desk.

"Sure but I need you to stay so that I can note some details. Do you have any information about the patient?"

"I found this drivers license in her bag when I was sorting her bag out, maybe it can help?" Harry said as he passed the laminated card across the counter.

The woman took the license and noted down the information which she could find and she rang for a doctor to tend to the unconscious girl.

"Take a seat, the doctor will be here in a few minutes," the lady said before passing the license back.

"So Sam, what did Paul say?" Harry asked.

"He told us to stay with her and that he is coming down right now with the others. Tell us what this young lady is called Harry."

"Erm, it says that she is called Deepika Desai and she is 22. Oh and check this... Lou she has the same birthday as you!" Harry informed us and a familiar face popped back into my mind.

I carefully studied the girl's face after pulling her hair away from her face and realised that she was the same girl. She was my neighbour and my worst friend/enemy. Although she had changed quite a lot, I was still able to recognise Deepika from the night, the night which was eventful and life changing.
