CHAPTER 2

I Fell in Love with a Stranger

2nd Person's POV

It was the first day of school but in my opinion, it was like we studied for a week because of the heavy tasks that the teachers gave to us. Too many projects and homework in different subjects that need to be done and submitted by tomorrow.

One more thing, why do we need to bring all our books home and bring them back to school? What?! Are they serious? Or I am not used to it. It's heavy you know, maybe...... I can bring books that will be needed by tomorrow only.

I am in the living room right now and taking my rest while lying on the couch. I'm exhausted and still thinking if I will continue studying there. I'm starting to regret why I followed my grandmother's wishes for me to study there. Until now I don't know what her reasons are and why she wanted me to study there but I need to believe in her. Besides, my parents agreed.

I graduated from private school when I was primary. I didn't need to write a long entry in a notebook. We were just using books or booklets. I didn't need to bring my books home, I just left it under my desk and was still there the next day. The books there were not used as much there either, we only used computers to study.

I suddenly missed my old school. Starting kindergarten until I graduated in 6th grade, I never thought I would leave and will not graduate from high school there. I'm okay with SM University. I miss SMU and the friends I left there.

While resting here in the living room. My mom saw me and asked, "Don't you have homework? Why are you lying there?"

"Mom! I'm tired from school. I need to rest even for a moment. Please....", okay that was embarrassing to make a cute face in front of my mom.

"Okay, Byul-Yi Moon." She said in a cute tone.

"Mom!! What was that for?!" I asked, acting irritated.

But she is already in the kitchen. I sigh.

Right Now, I'm here in my bedroom doing my homework.

It was good that almost all of my friends from SMU came with me to study in public school even though they know the consequences that they might face for studying there.

I'm so happy that Hani and Soyou are my classmates again at our new school. Unfortunately, Shownu and Sandeul went to another section but still they are classmates and their classroom is not far away from us.

IU didn't come with us because her mother didn't allow her. Meanwhile Baekhyun, he wasn't interested in moving school.

The two kids in our squad were Seulgi and Lisa. We are one year ahead to Seulgi and she is now graduating from grade school. Meanwhile Lisa is in fifth grade.

I'm done with my homework and am currently facing my desktop computer and read messages of my squad group chat.
