Iain and Ruby have been dating for 4 months and Iain decided that it is time to pop the question so before they started their shift Iain went into the jewelers and said to the man" excuse me I'm looking for a engagement ring as I'm going to propose to my girlfriend."

The man nodded and showed Iain loads of engagement rings but one caught his eye as he said" Could I have a look at that ring please." The man nodded and passed the ring to Iain as he smiled and said" I'll take these ring."

Iain returned to the flat as Ruby said" where have you been there's a bacon sandwich waiting for you." Iain smiled and hugged his girlfriend as he said" I brought you something nice."

Iain and Ruby arrived at work as Iain got the ring out of his coat pocket and put it in his trouser pocket as the couple got into the ambulance to start their shift.

When the couple took their break Iain decided to drive Ruby to a romantic place as Ruby said" Iain why are we here?" Iain smiled and said" trust me I know what I'm doing."

Iain went down on one knee and said" Dearest, you mean everything to me; I have seen every reason to make me fall in love with you. You have been a wonderful girl to me ever since the time that I have known you, and I think spending the rest of my life with you will be a very marvellous idea. I promise to take very good care of you, you will never regret every moment you will spend with me and I have always thanked God and my star for meeting a wonderful girl like you; you have always been sources of joy and happiness in my life. I want to you to be my special girl, I want us to take our relationship to the next level, I want to spend the rest of life in your arms, please would you marry me?"

Ruby had tears in her eyes and smiled saying" Yes Iain I'll marry you" as Iain smiled and said" glad you make the right choice." Iain slipped the ring onto Ruby's finger and the couple embraced a kiss.

Back at the hospital the news spread like wildfire as Kelsey, Colette, Anna, Roxanne and the rest of the staff looked at Ruby's engagement ring as Anna said" I can hear wedding bells ringing so who is going to be your bridesmaids at your wedding?"

Ruby smiled as she said" I would like to have you, Kelsey, Colette and Roxanne to be my bridesmaids" whilst the 4 girls embraced Ruby into a hug as Roxanne said" Ruby we would love to be your bridesmaids."
