"girl, i honestly have no idea how you sew. that stuff looks SO complicated!" Alya exclaimed. Tonight was the night of Marinette's big night, her sweet sixteen! Marinette slumped down on her chair, so stressed and tired from the 24/7 dressmaking to even speak.

"Don't forget Marinette, tonight's the night to confess to Adrien! He is coming... isn't he?"

Marinette groaned, since she became the guardian of the miraculous, Adrien has slowly become a 'sub-concern'. "Alya, it's not that i'm really worried about... what if someone gets akumatized?...Yes, Adrien is coming, I just hope that I don't get too flustered and make a complete idiot of myself!" Marinette let out yet another groan of many emotions. Worry, stress, anxiety, love for blonde guys... WAIT!...

"girl, I honestly wouldn't worry, Chat Noir can defeat the akumas for the night..." Alya paused, there was something she wanted to ask her guardian bestfriend. "Mari...can I please have the fox miraculous tonight?..Y'know, just...incase?" Marinette was extremely unsure, I mean, trixx really hasn't had that much experience of the outside world recently, and the last thing she needs is another kwami going missing.

"Im sorry Alya, it's just too dangerous, maybe next time?" Alya sighed, but not to the point of worrying the flustered clutz anymore. "Are you sure all the invites have been sent out? Wouldn't want to have a party with no guests, haha!" Alya asked, trying to shift the subject. That's when Marinette's (equally as flustered) parents burst through her trapdoor, causing Marinette to jump out of her seat.

"Alya, honey! You should probably home to get dressed now, we also need to lock up the bakery and set out to the main hall to finish setting everything up..!" Marinette's mother Sabine beamed.

"Ok Mr, Mrs Cheng! See you later Marinette..!" Alya gushed, climbing down the ladder after Marinette's parents, winking at her favourite girl on the way out. Marinette saw them all out, turning the 'open' sign over to 'closed'. "Tikki, i have so much to do! Can you help me, please?"

Agreeing to her bubbly-eyed guardian, Tikki rushed upstairs, notifying her kwami friends of their job of helping Marinette. Tikki helped Marinette sew the little butterfly onto the side of her dress, Pollen helped her do her makeup, and Kaalki helped her with her hair. "Im thinking of having it down tonight, Adrien said that i look nice with it down and I-" Tikki cut off her beloved holder mid-sentence. "Marinette! This is your night, don't worry about what anyone else thinks." Tikki gushed, with a cute little kwami blush appearing on her cheeks.

"Precisely, my dear Tikki. Our beloved holder needs to have more self esteem!...Am I right, fellow kwamis?" All of the kwamis, who were currently inspecting all of the make-up products layed out on Marinette's desk, cheered in sync... "Go Marinette!"...

Marinette wore a light pink ball gown, complete with black laced edges, and a beautiful glittery butterfly atop the rim of her waist. Her torso had a corset-like structure, which didn't fail to bring out her slim physique. Her make-up was quite light, with a tint of pink eyeshadow, mascara, blush, and some shiny clear lipgloss. She was ready for whatever this night had coming...

*Meanwhile, in the Françoise Dupont High School Entrance Hall...*

Tom and Sabine were setting up the buffet on a long table on the left side of the hall, the table had a smooth, pink silk tablecloth. Adrien, Alya and Nino were already at the venue, helping put up some decorations, and blowing up some balloons. Luka, Juleka and their father Jagged Stone were also at the venue, setting up some muscial instruments on the stage that they had especially built the night before. Luka and Jagged were planning on suprising Marinette by performing her favourite Jagged Stone song. "It's so rock and roll of you to set this up, kids! I'm sure Marinette's gonna love this!" Jagged exclaimed, he seemed to be abit *too* excited for his performace.

"Hey, Alya...I know this may seem like a bit of a wierd question, but what is Marinette wearing tonight?..." Adrien asked, he was actually quite excited fot the evening, he'd only just gotten back in his fathers good books after he walked out of a photoshoot last week. He was ecstatic to be out of his room, spending the night with his best friends...Alya looked up at Adrien with a sarcastic smirk printed across her face.. "That my good friend Agreste, is for me to know and you to find out ;)... all i can tell you is that she DID infact make it herself." Adrien wasn't suprised, he knew that Marinette was destined to become a fashion designer, a pretty amazing one, at that. "Hey, uh...guys." Juleka and Luka came up behind the group of teens, "Just wanted to say that me and Jagged will be performing tonight.!" Luka gushed, he was extremely excited, he knew that Jagged was Marinette's favourite artist, and this was an amazing way to further rebuild their friendship.

A mere few minutes after, flocks of guests start to arrive. Marinette's classmates, close family and other relatives all arrive in union, beaming with joy.

"Oh Sabine! I haven't seen the girl since she was in diapers, her friends look nice too!".

Everyone settled in pretty fast, Alya starts to worry when she realises that Marinette hasn't shown up yet. "Marinette! Where are you girl?... People are getting hella worried out here!" Alya shouted down the phone at her incompitent friend. Marinette grabbed her stuff, and Tikki, and put them all in her handbag, Tikki was quite squished, but she had little peekholes through the fibres to spy on her companions party, so she was satisfied.

A few minutes start to pass, people slowly start to get worried about her, asking where the main attraction of the big bash was. That's when some guests who were gathered near the door heard the sound of clicking heels. "SHE'S HERE! EVERYONE, SHE'S HERE!"... a close relative of Marinette exclaimed. That's when all attention went to the beautiful, elegant girl with ocean blue hair that glimmered in the moonlight. "Well Tikki, i guess it's all eyes on me..." she whispered to her kwami, who was gleaming with awe for her stunning young guardian.
