Chapter Five - Surprise..?!

The trio of unexpected superheroes burst through the school entrance, causing Princess Justice to jump away from her father, who she was currently intimidating into confessing his affair. "Hey there, pretty lady, as amazing and awesome as you look right now, I'm gonna need you to snap out of this real quick!" Chat Noir stated, he was still amazed at how gorgeous Marinette looked, but then again., she was his lady. "Well hey there, little kitty. I wonder what your true intentions are!" Princess Justice lifted her staff towards the front, she fired a truth bullet at chat noir, but luka jumped in front. "Hey! That's my son!" Jagged Stone exclaimed, with half a muffin in his mouth, crumbs falling down his face.  "Luka couffane, what are your true intentions.?"

"Don't let anyone find out about... marinettes identity. You love... marinette." Princess Justice dropped her staff in shock, Hawk Moth could hear, couldn't he?...This also meant that a room full of people including her beloved classmates also knew her identity, which also meant that she would have to give up her miraculous forever. The whole room burst into an array of gasps and incoherent mumbles. "Well that's just great..." Rena Rouge said bitterly, rolling her eyes. "Well, that's a surprise, Princess justice... Now, I guess you just have to give me YOUR miraculous." Hawk Moth cackled, taunting Princess Justice, the poor girl began to scream in pain as Hawk Moth sent electronic shocks through her brain, almost like she was being struck with several bolts of lighting in unison. She snapped her fingers, sending everyone she'd captured out of the state of hypnosis. "Way to let the cat out of the bag, couffane!" Chat Noir huffed. Luka had no memory of what just happened, or that he'd just put the girl he loved in great danger. "What did I do?" luka asked, as puzzled as anything. It didn't really help Marinette's cause when the whole room burst out in cheer and applause, some people even yelling "WHOO! MARINETTE IS LADYBUG!". Luka had realised what he had just done. He had just let out Marinette's big secret, the secret she had been hiding for years. "Shit. shit shit shit!" luka whispered to himself, detransforming and running over to a distressed Princess Justice. 

"Hawk moth, let me go. Enough has happened, I will never join your side. It was fun while it lasted, I've done what I wanted to do. And now, everybody knows my secret. I guess it's a win-win, huh?"

"Fair enough, but just know that I'll be after you." Hawk Moth muttered. Marinette fell to the ground in shame, people began running onto the stage in flocks to check on her. "Marinette, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean too-" Marinette, still not uttering a word, held onto Luka tight. Tom and Sabine managed to push through the hoard and apologise to their daughter, and politely asked everyone to leave the venue. "I'm not going anywhere, neither is chat noir." Rena Rouge clarified, detransforming and keeping hold of the fox miraculous. 

"I think you four should have a little chat anyway, we'll send everyone out." Sabine said, she didn't want to leave her daughter, not in this state, anyway. However, she knew that it would be a while before Marinette would even want to talk to her parents. 

Chat Noir ran up to Marinette, Alya close behind. Marinette still didn't utter a word."Hey luka, don't worry, this was out of your control." Alya said to Luka, who felt extremely guilty, this despair was partly his fault.  "Yes. don't worry." mumbled marinette. Chat Noir, who was about to say something to Luka, was interupted by the reluctant beeping of his ring. "Well, gotta go! Have a nice birthday marinette, and well done on breaking free." he gushed, kissing her on the cheek. Marinette asked Alya to head out and check on the miracle box, she needed to talk to Luka. 

"What did you want to talk to me about before?" asked luka. "Well- i-" Marinette stumbled, it was important that she got her words out properly, as this was quite a serious matter. "You know last week, when Alec was akumatized into Wishmaker?" Luka remebered this day fondly, as this was the day that he discovered Marinette and Adrien's superhero identities. "Yes, I remember." Marinette knew that Luka found out, she just wanted to make sure that the reason was infact Wishmaker, and not an accidental occurance. "Did you find out about my identity-?" An aroma of guilt filled the empty hall. "Please dont lie to me, I wont be mad. I think we've all had enough with liars tonight." Marinette laughed, she was under the impression that some comic relief was needed at that moment. "Haha. Yes, yes I did... you wanting to be the knitting fairy was actually kinda cute!" Marinette blushed, he really saw her dressed as the knitting fairy! Yikes..."I had suspicion, that's all. Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't deliberate, or you found out from anyone else, is all." Luka was amazed, he had spent alot of time thinking about how obvious Marinette being Ladybug was, the way that she'd always leave their dates during akuma attacks, and he'd always catch her whispering into her purse. "You know, it's pretty amazing how you can handle all of the stress of being ladybug, while juggling everything else in your life." Luka blushed, he looked into her eyes. How could Adrien not be in love with this girl? She was simply, perfect. "I don't know how to do it, to be honest." Marinette noticed him staring, her and Luka shared a moment there, but it was pretty short-lived, as, to the anger of a jealous Luka...They hear Adrien burst through the door. "MARINETTE!" Adrien ran up to marinette, hugging her tight. "Are you, really... ladybug?" Marinette's poor little face went bright red.

"...surprise??!" She muttered, looking straight up into Adrien's cool, alarmingly vacant emerald green eyes.  "I think i should leave you too alone for a while, i think adrien has something to share too" Luka said, winking at Adrien. This left the blonde hearthrob in confusion... Did Luka know his identity too?... Marinette ran up to luka, granting him a peck on the cheek. "Thank you for everything luka." Luka looked down at Marinette, she was Ladybug, holy shit... this girl is incredible. All he was thinking was... 'he better not break her heart. I swear to god, if he breaks her heart.' He realised that he was staring at her, and had been for over eight seconds which was, in romance code, considered creepy. "My pleasure." He replied, smiling at Marinette. The blue-haired guitarist ran towards the entrance, leaving the girl he loved in the hands of someone else.
