Perceivable Nightmare Part I

One week later:
Time: 23:45. Curling up under your weighted blanket is the best feeling in the world at the end of your day. You can finally relax. You start to drift off to sleep as you hear a familiar noise: shuffling, as well as the occasional hiss or two. Konan is out on a mission and you're not sure of when she'll be back—or care if she comes back for that matter—so you get up and start making your way over to the door to go get Deidara. Something grabs your foot and leaves you frozen in your path. You look down and see the same snake you found before with an identical camera on its back.

You want to call out for help but your voice catches and doesn't allow you to yell. Your throat feels like it's swelling up as you try to fight back tears from streaming down your face. You look down again at the snake and see that it's nearly ready to strike you. You try once again to scream, but nothing comes out. Help! You're screaming inside your head but the words won't come out. Still being frozen in place, all you can do is watch the reptilian bastard bite you. Its jaw unhinges, displaying its massive, razor-like fangs. Just as it's about to bite—

YN: "AHHHHHHHH"

You wake up screaming and crying. The bedroom door flies open as Deidara, followed by Tobi and Pain, comes rushing into your room.

D: "YN what's wrong?!"

T: "Are you okay? What happened?"

P: "Hey, we're here for you. What's the matter?"

YN: [speaking through hyperventilations] "I.. I... snake... help..."

D: "Calm down. I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere. You're having a panic attack. Everything's okay. Breathe. Calm down."

You start breathing in synchronization with Deidara and relax.

D: "Good job. Now, tell us what happened."

Deidara wipes the tears from your eyes.

YN: "I.. I had a nightmare that that I woke up and h-heard the snake again so I tried to make my way... t-to th-the the the... the door and it grabbed me and I was frozen in place and I tried to yell for help but nothing came out of  m-my mouth... it bit me as I woke up and now my calf hurts really badly."

P: "Here. Let's look at your leg."

You peel the covers back halfway and Deidara helps you pull your leg out.

P: "Tobi, can you go turn on the light."

T: "Yeah. Just a second!"

Deidara hides your face in his chest and strokes your hair while Tobi turns the light on. You can feel Deidara's hand mouths licking your hair, something you've gotten used to.

P: "This is... what I was expecting."

T: "Whoa..."

YN: "What're you talking about?"

Deidara keeps your head glued against him despite your resistance.

D: "Nothing's wrong. Just stay there for a minute."

YN: "Clearly there's something wrong if Pain and Tobi are—"

T: "Deidara-senpai... please."

P: "YN needs to see this."

Deidara releases your head and your gaze darts to your leg.

YN: "What the hell is that?! What is that... on my leg?! What kind of fucking mark is that?"

Nobody says a word, but you gain a larger audience. This time Hidan, Itachi, and Kisame are at your door.

YN: "Can someone please tell me why you three look like you shit yourselves? What the hell is this mark on my goddamn leg?!"

D: "Please... YN calm dow—"

YN: "Don't tell me to calm down!! Nobody is answering my fucking question!!"
