YN: "No. Stay with me. Don't leave."

Maru stares at you in shock.

YN: "Being alone would suck for me right now. Stay. Please."

Following a few moments of silence, he opens his mouth to speak.

O: "There probably isn't any meaning in life. Perhaps you can find something interesting to do while you're alive. Like how you found the Akatsuki. Like how I found you. I suppose I could stay here if you'd like."

You smile. You softly brush the hair out of his face, and kiss him.

YN: "You're oddly... sweet... for a snake."

O: "Don't get used to it, my dear. I can't afford to have you go making me soft."

You softly exhale, and nuzzle closer to Maru, eventually drifting off to sleep.

Time: 9:00. The next morning, you wake up, mostly rested and recharged. While Orochimaru lays on his back, you have your right leg bent and across his legs, and your right arm rests on his stomach. You realize how familiar this feels.

Deja vu... I wonder... how are you doing right now, Dei?

O: "How are you doing, my dear?"

You snap back to reality and raise your eyes to meet Orochimaru's.

YN: "I'll be fine. Kinda tired still but I don't want to go back to sleep. I should probably take a shower..."

You haven't taken one in a couple days because of everything that happened. Attempting to get up, Maru pulls on your hips and forces you back down next to him.

O: "Leaving so soon?"

YN: "I told you... I should probably go take a shower. Let me go."

You laugh, but his grip doesn't loosen any. Face to face one against, you softly brush the hair out of his face, and kiss him.

O: "I actually had a dream last night."

YN: "Oh really? About what?"

O: "I'm sure you'll find out soon enough~"

A signature smirk paints his face once again.

YN: "That doesn't look good."

You laugh as you attempt to get up again, and succeed. Looking in the bowl on your nightstand, you say,

YN: "I forgot about that... I better go find Kabuto and thank him."

Almost as if on cue, you open the door and find him standing there, in the process of going to knock.

K: "Good morning, YN."

YN: "Good morning. I want to thank you for bringing the treat up last night. I never ended up eating it but I appreciate it."

K: "Don't thank me. I-"

YN: "Yes. I'm going to thank you."

Wanting to leave the conversation there, you smile and walk towards the bathroom. Behind you, you hear Kabuto greet Maru as well, so you begin to walk quicker so he doesn't stop you again.

(Orochimaru's POV)

I should try to catch up to her.

Walking out the door, I find Kabuto.

K: "Good morning, Lord Orochimaru."

O: "Good morning. Was there something you were in need of?"

K: "It's nothing of great importance if you are bus-"

I begin to walk swiftly towards YN in attempt to catch up with her.
