Point of No Return

Time: 10:00. As you make your way to your seat in the hall, you notice that Kabuto hasn't arrived yet.

YN: "Where's Kabuto?"

O: "He's a little busy at the moment. Is my company not good enough for you?"

YN: "Wha-? No! It's fine... I was just wondering."

Orochimaru chuckles as you become increasingly flustered. He pulls out your chair for you and allows you to sit, then moves to his own seat next to you.

O: "Remember when you first arrived here? All that confidence... where did it go? Do I make you... nervous?"
His sharp, yellowish brown eyes focus on your own pair of [eye color] eyes. Noticing you tipping back in your chair, he says,

O: "Be careful, my dear. We wouldn't want you falling and hurting yourself."

Seeing him genuinely smile gives you butterflies in your stomach. You stop tipping, and he looks at your hand resting on the table. As he goes to grab it, Kabuto, along with a couple other Sound ninja enter the room. Oddly enough, the Sound ninja are holding black trays with food and drinks on them.

O: "Perfect timing, Kabuto. As your reward, you may stay if you'd like."

K: "No thank you, my Lord. I have... business to attend to."

Orochimaru nods his head and Kabuto leaves, and is followed out by the other Sound ninja after placing the contents of the trays in front of you both.

O: "I remembered last minute that you don't really enjoy breakfast, so I do hope you'll like what they brought you in place of food."

You look up at Orochimaru, only to notice that he was eyeing the eggs in front of him instead of actually looking at you.

Isn't that fitting... eggs for a snake. Kinda funny actually.

In front of you, there was a tall glass filled with what looked like a smoothie. A [favorite color] straw pokes out, along with a wooden skewer with fruit on it.

YN: "What's this? It looks amazing."

O: "Taste it, my dear."

YN: "Well that doesn't sound sketchy at all! Ok sure lemme just... really?"

You laugh and glance over at Orochimaru. He finally shifts his gaze to meet your eyes, and you share a smile.

O: "Don't you trust me?"

YN: [sarcastically] "No not at all. [seriously] I wouldn't be here right now if I didn't."

O: "Then stop stalling and try it."

You take a sip of the drink. You can taste [favorite fruits].

If this was his idea... I might just fall in love even more. This guy... this tastes amazing!

YN: "Wow... this... was this your idea?"

O: "Depends. Do you like it?"

YN: "Do I like it? Uh... this is one of the best smoothies I've ever had!"

A smile of sincerity lights up Orochimaru's face once again.

O: "I'm glad you like it, my dear! For the record, yes. This was my idea."

You stare at him in shock, but your eyes keep dropping to his lips.

I think I'm gonna kiss you...

O: "See something you like, my dear?"

You straighten up and shyly look away. You feel Maru's hand gently force your head back to look at him.

O: "Don't be shy now."

Almost as if you can't control your body, you lean closer to him, longing for another taste of something you had just sensed not too long ago. Just as you reach a couple centimeters away from his face, he stops you.

O: "Care to go for another walk following breakfast?"

YN: "Ye-Yeah. Sure."

Time: 11:00. You reach the same spot by the riverbank, only to find a pair of bathing suits and one towel.

YN: "I'm sure Kabuto had lots of important work to do, right? Also why the hell is there only one towel?"

Orochimaru grabs your hand and pulls you towards the items. As he picks up the bathing suits, an ant crawls out of it. He immediately drops them and backs up.

O: "Gross. I hate bugs."

YN: "Is that a weakness I spy? I mean, I hate bugs, too, but the fact that it's coming from you... now that's hilarious. I've never heard of a snake who's afraid of bugs before."

You nearly fall to the ground from laughing so hard.

O: "I don't s-see anything wrong with it."

Hearing him stutter makes you laugh even more. When you can finally breathe normally again, you look up Orochimaru and find that he looks oddly frightened. You calmly walk over to him and wrap your arms around his waist. He hugs you back.

YN: "Sorry. You just caught me off guard. Wasn't expecting to see this whole... frightened expression on your face. Kinda cute."

O: "I believe I can forgive you. Now, go change and I will do the same. You may take the towel as cover, again, if you wish."

This time, the bathing suit Kabuto had brought for you consists of a black top, open back with lavender strings laced through it, and the bottoms are low-waisted with sides that match the back of the top. As you turn around, you see Maru already sitting by the water's edge.

Time for a little revenge.

You sneak up on him and go to push him in, but of course this doesn't go well. Orochimaru turns around last second, flings you over his shoulder dragging you down to his level on top of him, and stares into your eyes. You freeze in place.

O: "You were an Akatsuki member? I never would've guessed it from that performance."

Tightly grabbing ahold of you, he pushes off the side of the riverbank and plunges into the warm water. As you break the surface, you find Maru already in front of you, looking like the girl from The Ring. His long, black hair was completely covering his face. You start pushing it out of the way, and when you're nearly done, he grabs both of your wrists. Pushing you up against the side of the riverbank, he leans close to your face.

O: "Even though I could easily assume the answer to this question, it seems I haven't formally asked you to be mine yet. So... will you take the offer?"

YN: "I'm sure you could assume correctly."

Sharing a smirk, you lean closer to his face and engage once again. Stopping is no longer an option, as he grabs your waist.

O: "I'll take that as a yes?"

You smile and go back for another taste. Between embraces, Orochimaru says,

O: "I... lo-... love... yo-...you, my... dear."

You wrap your leg around his and softly place your hand on his chest. You then proceed to slide your hand up and wrap your arm around his neck. He constricts his grip around you, making it impossible to get away. You feel one of his arms retreat from behind your back and reappear under your butt.

Ass guy, huh? Predictable.

Orochimaru is now lifting you up with his arms, pressing your back against the elevated riverbank, you being in a sitting position. You wrap your legs around his waist, inviting him closer to you. You fight to speak as he slips his long tongue into your mouth.

YN: "I... I love... you, too."

Is this what they call a point of no return? You feel your entire body heat up, like your being set on fire, or even electrocuted at this point. Not being able to go back, fix your mistakes... it all seemed scary to you just yesterday. Now, you wouldn't change a thing.
