I woke up because of the sun rays entering the window of the room I’m occupying right now. The warm wind is kissing my face and shoulder while I lay here comfortably in the bed. The strong smell of  coffee instantly filled my nostrils as I took a deep breath, I can also feel my back touching the soft mattress. As I opened my eyes I saw a big classical designed room with a bookshelf sticking on the wall and a wooden round shaped table beside it.

So this is grandma’s house. I instantly got up and fix my bed properly, inayos ko din ang kurtina at binuksan ang bintana at tumingin sa labas, and the view from my room is aesthetically pleasing and therapeutic at the same time.

Napakagandang pagmasdan ang tanawin sa harapan ko ngayon.

In front of me stands the majestic mountain range that’s seemingly reaching out and kissing the clouds, the sight of the vast trees laid in the mountains is spectacular. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath again and felt the brisk of natural air filling my lungs. 

My decision to come here, in this land is worthy. I’m sure I can take many pictures here, on this island.

I was still savouring the fresh air and amazing landscape in front of me when I heard a knock.

I walked across the room to open the door, ng buksan ko ang pinto ay sumalubong sakin ang isang magandang babae na naka damit pantulog. Her long hair is braided and some of her little hair is standing up, perhaps she slept with her hair tied up like this and forgot to comb it, im not sure,maganda din ang itim at mabilog nitong mga mata, hindi masyadong matangos ang ilong niya, pero bagay na bagay sa mukha nito.

“I’m Alona, and your grandma told me to get you. Let’s go”

Ngumiti ito sakin at hinawakan ang kamay ko kasabay ang paghila nito sakin palabas ng kwarto ko. Magrereklamo pa sana ako kung bakit niya ako hinawakan e kaya ko naman maglakad mag-isa. But I figured out na napaka aga pa sa pagiging OA ko 

Maya maya pa ay nakarating kami ni Alona sa kusina ng kabahayan, unti unting kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa nakita ko.

Halos mapanganga ako sa dami ng tao sa loob ng kusina ni lola.. 

May handaan ba? 

Inilibot ko ang aking mata at nag umpisang magbilang

One… two.. Three… four… five… six… ?? 

There's six strangers in front of me inside of my grandma's house. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?? 

“HARA!” 

Umalingawngaw ang pangalan ko sa kabahayan kaya naman hinanap ko ang pinanggalingan ng boses. And I saw her in the kitchen counter wearing a flowery apron habang humihiwa ng kasangkapang panluto.

Kinalas ko ang pagkakahawak ni Alona sa kamay ko at nagmadaling lumapit sa lola ko. 

“LOLA!”

Mariin ang pagkakasabi ko kahit mahina lang ang boses ko

“What? And you should say goodmorning to them”

Mas lalong kumunot ang ulo ko ng makita ko ang mga kababaihan at kalalakihan sa harapan ko na ngayon ay nakatingin sa sakin.

"I don't even know them.. Wait.. I have so many questions Lola”

I awkwardly looked at the people sitting at the kitchen table… 

“ask away, and start with number one please”
