CHAPTER 8
Halos dalawang linggo ko ng iniiwasan si Acari, i don't know the real reason why i'm hiding from him but i have a feeling that it's not good to see him this days. Mas lalo kasi itong gumagwapo sa paningin ko. Now im convinced that I'm infected with some sort of virus o di kaya ay may sira sa utak ko.
My phone beeped and i saw a notification from Venancio saying that Acari already left the house, agad naman akong tumayo at tumakbo papuntang kusina para kumain. The reason why Venancio is my spy is that I accidentally caught him planning something for Alona's birthday and I promised I won't tell anyone if he becomes my spy.
Alam kong para kaming bata pero wala akong magagawa dun, i really need to hide from Acari.
Nakita ko si lola na nagliligpit na ng mga pinagkainan dahil wala ng tao doon, she made a face when she saw me late for breakfast again
"para kang tanga apo, alam mo ba yun?" she looked at me and rolled her eyes showing her disgust at my recent behavior
"what?" i tried my best to sound innocent while eating the soup in front of me
"tch! As if i know you're ignoring someone" umupo ito sa harap ko at nangalumbaba pa, I'm gonna get roasted real good today
"sino naman ang iiwasan ko, i'm just editing some stuff kaya naman late ako" i reasoned out looking at the soup instead of grandma, baka makita lang nitong nagsisinungaling ako
"every breakfast? Why not edit it at lunch?bakit kada breakfast pa?" tinutukso tukso pa ako nito, base sa nakikita kong expresyon sa mukha nito she's not buying my lies
"i just feel like editing it in the morning, come on lola, you know me, i'm a career woman, i don't have time for a man"
I defended myself and I looked at her. Lola laughed at me at kinurot ang pisngi ko
"So you're ignoring a man now?"
Anito at tumayo saka nag hubad ng apron at lumabas ng kusina. Oh great!
"anong? I.. I didn't.. Lola"
Shit! I'm so clumsy these days, my words and my actions are foreign to me. Hindi na ako ito parang may alien talaga sa katawan ko
I frowned in frustration as i put away the soup, nawalan tuloy ako ng gana.
Ilalagay ko na sana ang soup sa mga hugasin ng may tumunog na cellphone sa gilid ko. I looked at the black phone in the table and i saw that someone's calling it
The caller ID says Eliz. Hindi ito akin kaya naman nagmadali akong lumabas ng kusina para tanungin si Vivoree kung kaninong cellphone ito
"i think kay kuya Acari yan" anito at ibinalik uli ang atensyon sa laptop.
The call died and then it rang again. Hindi ko pa din ito pinapakialaman dahil natatakot ako
What if it's an emergency?
I took a deep breath at lumabas ng kabahayan dala ang cellphone para sana ibigay kay Venancio ang cellphone but he's not outside
"Vivoree nasaan sila?" i asked again as i hold Acari's phone on my hand
"sabi nila mag bibike daw silang lahat papuntang Vayang Rolling Hills" malapit lang dito ang Vayang rolling hills in fact ito talaga ang lugar na kinatatayuan ng Villa pero mapalad ito kaya naman perfect place din ito para mag bike
"you mean dalawa lang tayo ang nandito ngayon?"
"opo, may nakikita po ba kayong kakaiba?"inilobot pa nito ang mata sa kabahayan at bakas ang takot sa mukha nito. Hindi ko nalang ito pinansin at nagmadaling pumunta sa kwarto ko. Minsan talaga mas may sira yung utak ni Vivoree kesa sakin
