"so what are we doing today-oh, jesus christ, michael! put some clothes on!" arabella yelled, shielding her eyes.

michael just laughed, and walked towards the cupboard in their temporary bedroom. he had just gotten out of the shower, and the towel was rather restricting, so he just dropped it, not thinking that arabella would mind.

"It's nothing you haven't seen before." he grinned as he found a pair of briefs, and put them on, "you can look now."

arabella peeked through her fingers, and sighed when she saw michael was properly covered.

"i'd prefer to see it again when your mom isn't downstairs making breakfast." she said, rolling her eyes at him.

"please, you'd prefer to see it all of the time." he scoffed.

"yeah, no."

"yeah, uh yeah." michael snickered, moving closer to arabella (who was sitting on the bed) still only in his underwear.

"you're disgusting, please just get dressed." arabella sighed, getting up from the bed. she had already showered, done her hair, make up and gotten dressed, and now she was just waiting for michael. she had told him that she didn't want to go downstairs without him, she was still a bit nervous to be around his mother alone.

michael backed away from arabella, and pouted. she shook her head at him and looked down at her phone. michael sighed, seeing no point in wasting time. he got dressed quickly into some skinny jeans and an old band tee, telling arabella that he was ready.

she smiled, and walked towards him, letting michael know that she wasn't irritated with him anymore. she was walking too slowly though, so he met her in the middle, pulled her closer, and kissed her. he felt her smile into the kiss, which made him smile as well. he still couldn't believe how well everything had turned out. he was here, with arabella and she was kissing him, and she loved him. and he loved her. they loved each other. it was crazy to think that mere months ago she couldn't stand him and all he wanted to do was get in her pants. but that's just the way things were.

michael realized that sometimes, although you don't start out on the right path with the right intentions, you can still end up in the right place.

"i hate shopping." michael mumbled, for the fifteenth time that morning.

him, his mother and arabella were walking around the local mall, and while his mother and arabella were having the time of their lives, michael was less than thrilled. walking around malls was not his idea of a good time, they hadn't even passed the food court yet, and he was starving. he wanted to go and get something, but he didn't want to leave arabella alone with his mother, although it looked like she was over the nerves she had felt this morning. karen and arabella were having a full-blown conversation, about what, michael couldn't tell you, mostly because he wasn't even involved in the conversation.

he felt left out, but he was glad that arabella was getting along with his mom. it would've been terrible if they hadn't gotten along, after all, michael wanted to spend the rest of his life with arabella, if his mother didn't accept that, they would've had a problem.

"i'm hungry." michael moaned.

"then get something to eat," arabella said dismissively before turning back to his mother and talking about shoes.
