C H A P T E R 11

A few hours after the whole Teru fiasco happened, Kou hasn't stopped following Hanako once class ended for lunch. A normal person would be completely creeped out by this behavior but thankfully for Kou, Hanako was anything but a normal person and on the contrary, found this whole situation rather amusing than creepy.

Nene, on the other hand, was quite worried for Hanako. Having only like 2 hours to regenerate, the ghost's body was still covered in burns, which didn't escape Yashiro's eyes somehow.

"At least let me take you to the infirmary!" She shouts at the ghost, trying her hardest to drag the spirit out of the bathroom's door.

"I told you it's nothing worth worrying about! And human medicine isn't going to have any effect on me, I'm a supernatural remember?" He argues back, holding on dear life onto the door's edge. "Kid, tell her it's useless!"

The said exorcist only shrugged in response, walking next to Yashiro's struggling figure. "I'm curious on how it will affect you though, and as much as you deny it, you do need help."

Hanako gasped dramatically, offended. "I'm a laboratory rat now? After everything we've been through together kid, I thought you would treat me better. And Yashiro please stop pulling my waist this hard, you're going to snap me in half if you continue!" The ghost let out a huff as he manages to move one of his feet inside of the bathroom again.

His progress was however destroyed by Yashiro yanking him with more force in the opposite direction, he was glad he could float, otherwise, he would have lost his balance and would fall on his face, which would be both painful and embarrassing for him. He grimaces at the mere thought.

"I'm only going to release you if you let us treat your burns Hanako-kun! And I don't pay much attention to Science Class but I don't think that's possible, not with my strength at least!" She states through gritted teeth, putting her whole stack of energy into drawing him away.

"I already told you that won't be necessary! Plus I have a meeting with the other mysteries soon, I can't go now!" Yashiro and Kou blinked at the same time, the girl letting go of him temporarily.

"Meeting?" The spirit lets out a sigh of relief once he didn't feel the pressure of Yashiro's arms around his waist, which he was sure would have been able to break his ribs if he was still human, it's not like his bones were very resistant, to begin with anyway.

"Yes, there's something we need to 'discuss' about." For some reason, the tone of his voice sounded a bit... sinister. Nene looks at Kou, and the boy stares back, both of them have raised eyebrows.

"Is something the matter?" The young girl asked, concern crystal clear in her voice. The spirit must have noticed he was acting off since his widened eyes quickly changed back into their lightless form, amusement slightly making them seem warmer.

"It's just some boring supernaturals' stuff, no need to bother yourselves with that." He dismisses the question with a wave of his free hand and a small smirk. "Anyways Yashiro, you know what time is it right? It's time for your bathroom cleaning duty--"

"Lord Number Seven!" A voice called out, making the two humans jumped and Kou draws his staff.

"WHO IS IT?" He shouted through gritted teeth, alerted. A floating lion came out of the shadows with both of its paws raised, trembling like a dandelion in the wind.

"Put your staff away kid, this supernatural isn't here for trouble." The ghost ordered, landing back on earth and calmly walking towards the supernatural who sighs in relief once the exorcist calmed down, letting his paws back on the ground.
