Suna POV

A week has passed and today was the first time Atsumu and I have left Osamu's side to attend school. Osamu had lectured us saying how he's okay and that we must attend for his sake. Eventually we gave in which is why I am currently sitting in class listening about calculus of whatever.

I watched as the long hand of the clock hit the 12 signalling class dismissed. I grabbed my bag and ran out the school. Atsumu was already waiting for me at the front of the school. We made eye contact before rushing to the bus stop and got onto the bus. Atsumu and I were never that close but we were acquaintances through Osamu. We would occasionally go on double dates with Atsumu and Sakusa but we never interacted that much. The two couples were normally in their own world. This was my first time seeing Atsumu crying, I have never seen him cry even when he fights with Osamu. It was a side of him I have never witnessed. Even with Osamu, it was very rare to see him cry, the both of them were very good at masking emotion.

Now looking at Osamu with a smile after everything. I just couldn't believe my eyes. How could he be smiling? I thought at that time when he first awoken after the incident. How can he be smiling when he knew he wouldn't be able to walk the same way again. I would and could never understand.

Through the past week, Atsumu and I have gotten a lot closer as we shared the same thought: take care of Osamu. The three of us would play games together and talk all day. Sakusa would even join us when he had time. The nurses moved a mattress in for Atsumu to sleep in since Atsumu would stay there every night since he didn't have anyone at home. I would stay majority of the days but on the nights my parents were home, I would have to go back for the night.

We arrived at the hospital and headed towards Osamu's room. Once we made it to Osamu's room the doctor was just about to leave. Osamu seemed to have a pretty upset look on his face but it soon changed once he saw us walk in.

"Samu! I bought ya some onigiri" Atsumu said running towards Osamu's bed.

I also walked over taking the fox plushie that I bought him during one of our first dates. Osamu had left the fox plushie at my house claiming that he spends more time there compared to his own.

"Ya brought foxy?" Osamu said with the brightest smile. I chuckled before using the fox and making it dance around on Osamu's bed. Osamu laughed before taking foxy away from me. I just smiled and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Ew stop this, I don't wanna be a third wheel." Atsumu said crossing his arms.

"So what did the doctor say?" I asked.

"O-oh. The doctor said I'm... fine and doing well" Osamu said although something in me felt like he was lying.

Osamu opened the onigiri and began stuffing his face with it. "Hospital food is gross." He muttered.

At that moment I had received a notification from Kita. News had spread quickly throughout the inarizaki volleyball team that even the people who have graduated know about the incident. They still have yet to come visit since their schedules have been packed since it was their first days of university.

I pulled out my phone to check what it was. It seemed that Kita had come to visit us and was waiting in the lobby. I stepped out the room to call Kita and explain to him which room we were in.

As I was on the phone with Kita outside the room, Atsumu burst out the room calling for a doctor. I immediately dropped my phone on the ground.

"DOCTOR DOCTOR PLEASE SOMEONE HELP MY BROTHER" Atsumu yelled running through the halls in search of someone.

I ran back into the room only to see Osamu gripping onto his chest as he continued to cough. It seemed like he kept having spasms and his whole body kept flinching as if he had been shocked.

I ran to Osamu's bed and grabbed onto his hand to try and calm him down.

"Calm down Osamu. Please it's me. Just calm down and keep coughing." I say. Osamu nods with tears streaming down his face. He looked to be in so much pain. The pain looked almost unbearable.

Doctors came pouring in and started doing whatever they had to do. I was kicked out of the room where I saw Atsumu who was already crying. Kita was there comforting Atsumu as I assumed he had just arrived.

"He'll be okay. He's strong" I say seriously to Atsumu. Atsumu just nods but I knew he was still scared. I just hoped Osamu would be okay.

"What happened?" Kita asked.

"O-Osamu w-was eating but I think he ate too fast and began choking. H-he was able to cough the food out but t-then he started to clutch onto his chest and moving weirdly. H-he was crying and I-I just didn't know what to do" Atsumu stuttered out in tears. Kita looked sadly at the door. I myself was in shock.

Behind the closed doors we could hear Osamu crying and yelling in pain. He kept repeating the words it hurts or stop it. It was brutal that I couldn't even bare to listen any longer.

After a long period, it wad suddenly quite. A doctor had walked out. "Boys... luckily you got help in time otherwise the patient may not have survived. We have injected something in Osamu to make him sleep for a while. He is in a lot of pain now and needs to normalize his heart rate for the time being. Please let him rest and come back tomorrow." The doctor says.

"Please! Doctor ya have to let me stay. That's my twin brother, I need to know he's okay" Atsumu pleaded. The doctor shook his head.

"The best thing you can do is let him rest." The doctor replied before walking away, not allowing Atsumu to plead anymore.

I was just as upset. I was planning on spending the night with Osamu but instead we were faced with such a traumatic event. It was a nightmare just seeing Osamu's tears... I never want to see them again. His cries of pain will haunt me. I just wished everything was... happy.

"Atsumu... don't cry." I awkwardly try to comfort. "Samu wouldn't want to see you like this."

Atsumu seemed to be thinking for a bit before lifting his head.

"I don't wanna sleep alone.." he mumbled.

I knew Sakusa was on a trip with his volleyball team somewhere and Osamu...

"Uh.. you could stay at my house? Then tomorrow we can comeback here" I suggest. Is this considered cheating? Well we would be sleeping in different beds. I guess it's more like a sleepover with bros.

"Okay." Atsumu responded.

"I guess I'll take my leave now.. I should visit another time." Kita said before walking out. He looked really upset but I guess he didn't want to bring the mood lower then it already is.

"Guess we should go too." I say. Atsumu just follows behind, almost 5 metres behind me as we headed towards the bus stop.

We rode the bus and arrived at my place. We didn't utter a word to each other and just went to bed.
